Nathanael D. Striker
Well, I may as well vote so we have something. Card A is an interesting one. First effect is a CotH-like effect in that it revives the monster, but the revived monster is reliant on this card. While this effect does show redemption in that a previously destroyed is brought back, it has flaws. Since it is CotH-like, it has to compete with it for use. In a revival sense, CotH is much faster than this since it's Continuous Trap vs Equip Spell. The second effect is a bit odd for an Equip Spell imo, but it does redeem this card in use as it destroys something if the first effect doesn't last long. If I'm reading this right, this enables Summoning during your opponent's turn. If that's the case, it really makes your opponent suffer for destroying your cards, but I don't think the redemption fits the cause. If your opponent destroys 1 card, then all I see this being viable in is in Monarchs. The only way the Xyz/Synchro Summoning can happen is if mass destruction like Raigeki/Dark Hole, etc., and then you have to hope your opponent has the cards since this card can't let you use yours from how I'm reading. That's a bit too much hoping tbh. And based on this card's text, this can only respond to 1 card. That just makes it more difficult to use this effectively. Second effect keeps this live, but then runs into the Tribute only problem I mentioned. I have to go for Card A since it can be used for what it was designed for while Card B doesn't really accomplish that.
