Five Nights at Freddy's 4

I think people should stop thinking about it as four separate games. It's really just a single game in four parts.

I still think at least some proportion of the sequels were solely made to ride the hype of the first game. It's a nifty little game premise, and overall good quality games, so I can't blame them.

To be fair, Game 2 came out farily quickly, and I guess that's what made people think it was a pure hype train.

Games 3 and 4 came out whenever.

I swear, some of the character designs are inspired by sharks.

I plan to do what I've been doing with Mark's videos and listen to it with the video scrolled out of view, pause it at the jumpscares and see what they look like.

Alright, heres a thought....

Unless this is common knowledge and I'm just now coming to this conclusion-

The 4th game is a little backwards.

The reason why all of this takes place at a house is because the house is actually Scott's house.

And if we assume the stuff mentioned in Game Theory's videos is correct, and how the first game has similarities to an incident at McDonalds...

The reason why the stuff that was sold to people/etc wound up in game 4's house(or at least implied it), is because the incident was the main story, and Scott, basically, took it home with him and made it into a game. Which is why in game 4 you are harassed in your own house; It's the newspaper from game 3, which gives details about how the game was made, which mentioned that Scott was afraid of Bonnie, and woke up at night thinking he was attacking him. Or if I remember that detail correctly. Which is why you are attacked in your own house, as it's Scott's progression to making the first game.

...

It just doesn't show any computers.

Nah, it's not that meta. It's far more straight forward, to be honest.

The sequences in between the nights should reveal enough.

[spoiler What it is]These are the nightmares of the victim of the Bite of '87.
