GarlandChaos
My brother was wondering why this card was banned. He's only 10, by the way. I couldn't give him a straight answer as to why because of my lack of card balancing knowledge, so I'm asking you guys for your opinions. Discuss. Slinky
I'm assuming because Dark Worlds. And probably because the TCG doesn't like FTKs, and Empty Jar is an FTK
Toffee.
It's banned because "Jar.dek", if you would even call it that, is outright absurd.
玄魔の王
I'm assuming because Dark Worlds. And probably because the TCG doesn't like FTKs, and Empty Jar is an FTKDark Worlds never ran this because it was too slow. Even if they did, they didn't even get Card Destruction banned, let alone this. It was Empty Jar.
mido9
The real question is why morphing jar #2 is banned.

Which was stupid because it was inconsistent and would never have caught on, but then these are the same people who banned Self-Destruct Button. It only ever saw use as a way to run out the clock and win in first blood overtime sudden death.

It's annoying I admit, but so is Chain Burn, and that hasn't been hit in years.

ihop
Not if there's any threat that it might genuinely disrupt the running of a tournament. If a tournament constantly goes way over time because someone's playing SDB it costs them money and makes them look bad, it overrides any relevance.
