What is your dream job?

Out of curiosity, what things have you written things?

...

;_;

I have a fatal combination of diseases known as 'procrastination' and 'writer's block' respectively. With a pinch of being too easily distracted by the internet.

I have this thing I've been writing open and I haven't touched it since this morning.

Definitely being in a band. I'm a long way off being able to write/play the styles I want to be able to, though. Also, if I were to become a successful and influential musician, I would probably end up doing what Brian May did and become a political commentator/campaigner.

The JUST DO IT advice works here. I have had the same issues, constantly, for years. Until I decided to say "funk it" and just write a certain amount each day, no matter what. Sometimes I don't write as much but I always make sure to make up for it. I finished a book with this tactic and I never thought I'd be able to do it. (Need to touch it up still)

So basically, it's not the easiest thing but it's for sure possible. You got this.

Also I think it's pretty obvious what my dream job is based on what I just said XD

A caster of professional E-Sports, primarily of DOTA 2.

Like the hours would be horrible, the travel extensive, the work would be demanding, the players would probably be annoying, the organisations would be a pain in the ass. But... the game is something that I love, and can dedicate myself to, and the idea of casting it just appeals to me. (Probably the inner showman in me wanting to captivate peoples attention).

And it's something I actually plan on actively working towards unlike most things.

There are a few jobs I'd really like to do, but some of them are so hard to get, sigh.
First of all - I'd like to become a teacher. It might seem boring to you, but I love children (no pedo), I'm pretty used in teaching and sharing my knowledge and I'm always happy to help someone. There are bad teachers around here and I want to be exception.

I'd also like to be a politican. I'm from Bavaria, and I don't expect you to know much about our system, but the guys in Bavaria are homophobic idiots and racist as well. They justify everything with the bible. And the German government sucks as well - they can't stand the racist's in my country, they won't make gay marriage legal (not to mention - our president is a damn Christ, she says gay people are not "normal" and shouldn't have the right to "compete" with hetero marriage) and there are so many things they do wrong. I'm tired of complaining, so I'll kick their butts when I'm a politican.

At last but not at least - I love writing. I started it when I was ten or so, I always loved reading books so it was obvious to enjoy being an author as well. In a forum I started a few fanfictions and became really good, I even won some competitions! I'd like to make my passion my everyday job.
