BTH

CED

2x Fiendish Chain

So yeah, Gemiknights. I really like this deck, but it doesn't like dueling. Any suggestions on what the heck I can do to improve this kinda-sorta mess?

Ha! I was running a Gemini Deck pretty recently and found it to be pretty messy. What I've found is that geminis have 3 main playstyles:

1. Return from Grave

2. Power to Normal Monsters

3. A mix of 1 and 2

The first one uses cards like Featherizer and other things to dump the geminis for a revival and then a subsequent Gemini summon. It is decent, but leaves the monster open to S/T removal (even if Gemini summoned).

The second one takes as much advantage as possible of their normal monster status and pushes using that. When they do get Gemini summoned, it is like an added bonus.

With that outta the way, looking at your Deck, it would probably do better under the first style of Gemini Deck.

I would cut the Gemini Boosters and the Warrior Returning Alives. That gives you space for Call of the Haunteds.

As for the monster lineup, I'd cut out 1 of the Scorpions. It's usefulness is shown when Special Summoned but it relies on making sure you have a Gemini in hand. Gemini Summoner is good in theory, but the fact it has to survive until the opponent's End Phase is asking a lot; I'd cut it down to 1 at MOST. I'd also cut Knight Day down by 1. It isn't the best draw in dire situations. In exchange, I'd recommend 2 Featherizers + 2 Mathematicians. They will help fill your Grave and float on battle destruction.

Things I'm not sure of:

Triple Blazewing: If you are playing from the Graveyard anyway, this card seems a bit redundant. Really combos well with Supervise, but that's about it.

Magnum Shield: 9/10 times I think Moon Mirror Shield is better, but whatever you find more useful.

The Empowereds: No real reason against these guys. They are pretty cool, but I'm not sure if they really fit in. Do what you will with them.

Things to try:

Future Samurai: a pretty legit Gemini warrior with a pretty costless destruction effect. Of course, it doesn't play with the equip theme though.

Birthright: another option for graveyard restoration.

Symbols of Duty: If you wanna lean towards the normal Gemini playstyle. It is a monster reborn and an equip specifically for Normal Monsters.

Dragon's Mirror (+ First of the Dragons & Superalloy Beast Raptinus): for those times when you may really need them.

Brilliant Fusion + Gem Knight Lady Lapis-Lazuli + Gem Knight Lazuli: A personal favorite of mine and one that melds perfectly with Gemini monsters. Lazuli can bring back a Normal monster when sent with Brilliant Fusion and the Lady allows you to Normal Summon twice a turn.

~Whew~ Good Luck!

Thanks for the suggestions! Updated OP with new Decklist and pic~

Why no Tuners so you can make Black Butdrago? It's a fairly decent card and has a pretty big body.

Also there's a continuous spell that essentially let's you special summon a Gemini from your hand one per turn if your field is blank. I forget it's name, but you may want to consider it.

Gemini's are only Normal Monsters on the field / Graveyard, though.
