Zauls
Why do people buy skimmed or semi-skimmed milk? It tastes worse and is less healthy than full fat. Seriously, the sugar content of skimmed and semi-skimmed milk is considerably higher. Fat doesn't make you fat, people!

My mom has recently been buying the Skim milk and I figured there was something off about buying it. It tastes awful, and if I can convince her it's not healthier... Cosmo.
My parents buy it because my dad has a small intollerance where he can't digest full fat milk properly and it messes up his stomach, but for me and my sister they get full fat milk

goodfusion
Or just drink soya milk, it tastes delicious! Quite an unusual taste but it is nice once you get used to the taste.
~ P O L A R I S ~
Soy decreases testosterone levels, I advise avoiding it wherever possible.
Zauls
Yeah, I knew soy had some kind of adverse effect, thanks for reminding me of it. I also remember reading somewhere that whole milk can increase testosterone levels.
goodfusion
Well, I'm not sure what effect that would have on my health, but unless it is likely to kill me it can't be that bad.
Zauls
Well, I'm not sure what effect that would have on my health, but unless it is likely to kill me it can't be that bad. Actually, low testosterone levels can be very unhealthy. Apart from the obvious adverse sexual effects, there are effects on muscle mass, bone strength and red blood cell production. If you choose to drink soy milk, try to get healthy fats and proteins from things like eggs and nuts to balance that effect out. Christ I sound like a textbook...
