Unless I'm missing a card, it's the first XG, look at X cards, get all lands spell. Evolutionary Leap is actually quite fun. It might be cheap enough to be an engine, but there are so many good green and black engine cards, that I figure it won't make the cut usually. (:Seems good in Green Sun's Zenith, actually. It wouldn't see all of that much play, but Spell Mastery seems really good with the Green Sun's Zenith deck. Priest is funny in that if you deal with the Demon your opponent is still getting taxed. Still, 5 mana 5/5 flier is good. I'm trying to figure out how good Awakening is. Like, what number X needs to be for you to cast it. ATM I'd say 3 since any lower has a good shot of missing without manipulating the top of your deck. Though I suppose Scry is now evergreen making 1 also a fine option. Despoiler is cute. Don't think it's good enough for standard though. Leap seems powerful if you have a bunch of random idiots laying around. Also, don't think these have been posted anywhere so I'll add them here Disciple of the Ring 3UU Creature - Human Wizard 1, Exile an instant or sorcery card from your graveyard, choose one: *Counter target noncreature spell unless its controller pays 2. *Disciple of the Ring gets +1/+1 until end of turn. *Tap target creature. *Untap target creature. 3/4 Scab-Clan Berserker 1RR Creature - Human Berserker Haste Renown 1 (When this creature deals combat damage to a player, if it isn't renowned, put a +1/+1 counter on it and it becomes renowned.) Whenever an opponent casts a non-creature spell, if Scab-Clan Berserker is renowned, Scab-Clan Berserker deals 2 damage to that player. 2/2 Gideon's Phalanx 5WW Instant Put four 2/2 white Soldier creature tokens with vigilance onto the battlefield. Spell mastery - If there are two or more instant and/or sorcery cards in your graveyard, creatures you control gain indestructible until end of turn. Disciple seems pretty strong. Might be worth trying out in bloom for this reason.Green Sun's shouldn't worry too much about that when they run Reality Spasm and Early Harvest. I like Abbot a lot, tbh. I would play that card a lot just whenever I play red. I like it when Eidolon of the Great Revel is bad, which is usually the grindy games > control. Abbot seems great in those.
