Sander
Fire King Avatar NephthysLevel 1 / FIREWinged Beast / EffectThis card can attack your opponent directly. When this card inflicts battle damage to your opponent: You can Tribute it; excavate cards from the top of your Deck until you excavate a "Fire King" or a "Nephthys" monster; Special Summon that monster, also send the remaining cards to the Graveyard. You can only activate the effect of "Fire King Avatar Nephthys" once per turn.300 / 200 Made a card similar to this in the past, but then it only supported the Nephthys monsters, but decided to give it some more range of monsters it could Summon via its effect. Also, it's hard OPT now which it wasn't before, (when the original card was created, the "Fire King" archetype didn't exist), given that Fire King Island exists now. rednascarcars
This seems alright to give to Fire Kings (and the sacred phoenix himself). Making it a Winged Beast was a wise decision as you cannot search it via Tenki so you have to draw it (or use 1 for 1). The once per turn restriction is good so you can't go: summon garunix or barong (or whatever FK/nephthys you excavate), attack, circle targeting this, use again while also getting an effect. Seems pretty balanced to me.
Toffee.
Swap the Neph part for FIRE Winged-beast. Feels more in-line with Island, really. Plus, I doubt anyone would play the WIND Hand of Neph, when Onslaught is a card, and you could always blow up in-Hand Nephs with Island. As for the effect itself... It feels strange. Like, I get why you are making it into a pseudo Reasoning, but it doesn't feel all that benefitial to the Deck. Though leaving it up to chance like this, for if you somehow DO hit Neph/Garunix/etc, it would be pretty silly. Flavor wise, though it works because Phoenix Wing(if used on your own stuff) and Feather of the Phoenix both do the same thing; Put cards on the top of your Deck.
