HORUS
PLEASE HELP. CAN YOU USE A TRAP HOLE ON JINZO?????
Sartorius
Nope. It has to hit the field to be destroyed by Trap Hole, and it Jinzo's effect is applied as soon as it hits the field so it cannot be destroyed by the Trap Hole. No further info needed. Shaco
But there are trap cards that can destroy Jinzo kinda before he hits the field, like Horn of Heaven, or Solemn Judgment.
JerryFreelance
Solemn Judgment works because it's a counter trap, which means it's faster than Jinzo. Since [bottomless] Trap Hole is not counter, it's too slow to stop Jinzo.
Shaco
It's mostly the fact that both of those cards "Negate the Summoning" of a monster, opposed to the trap Holes which eliminate the card after it is successfully summoned, that's why they Monarch's effects still take place if they are destroyed by a Trap Hole card. Foenix
I swear to Gaara that I once saw a ruling that said trap hole's effect would apply before jinzo's activated. It's sort of like a continuous card.....
