Nathanael D. Striker
Rules: All Leaderboard rules apply. First to 3 votes or most votes by June 24th, 11:59PM PDT wins. All voters must elaborate on their votes. Both contestants and myself have the right to refuse votes, but must explain why we don't accept it. Written cards are allowed. (Must be in written format, cards with blank pictures are not acceptable) Create a LIGHT Level 4 monster with some sort of floater effect. Rewards: The winner gets a rep from the loser. All voters get a rep for voting. Card A 1 Level 1 LIGHT monster + "Honest" LIGHT monsters you control with 1200 ATK or lower cannot be destroyed by card effects. Level/Rank 1 monsters cannot be targeted for attacks. For every level 1 monster you control, increase this card's DEF by 300. When this card is removed from the field, target 1 LIGHT monster in your Graveyard, add it to your Hand. Card B When this card is Normal Summoned: Excavate the top card of your Deck, and if it is a monster, send it to the Graveyard. Otherwise, add that card to your hand. You cannot Special Summon the turn you activate this effect. If you control no monsters, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). Cannot be used as a Fusion, Synchro, or Xyz Material for a Summon.
rednascarcars
Card A: This card won't really be seen played beyond using Instant Fusion for its floater effect so it can be tutored in decks such as tellarknights, Lightsworn, star seraphs, melodious divas, etc. It's only way of being Fusion Summoned besides with poly and IF, would be the hex-sealed LIGHT thing but it can only replace Honest. So you have to tribute it + a level 1 LIGHT, which in today's meta game is troublesome at best. If you do use IF however, you need to wait until the end phase to be able to return a card or Xyz with it and not get a card back. Card B: This card would be nice in anything that wants monsters in the Graveyard, such as Sylvans (excavated), (potentially) Lightsworn, monarchs, maybe infernoid, etc. The card's many anti-summoning restrictions makes it very hard to use effectively, however. This card's best use in a deck for the most use is a monarch variant (likely frog monarchs). The only way you would want to SS it would be for a tribute (summon). My decision in this contest: Card A for effective usage and most uses.

Nathanael D. Striker
Card B doesn't meet the card criteria, is this a joke?Owner of Card B took the replace the Summoned monster in the hand route so that the hand count stays the same. I kinda bought it. *shrugs*
