Once per turn, this card is cannot be destroyed by battle. When your opponent's monster declares a direct attack: You can Special Summon this card from your hand. If this card is sent from your hand or field to the Graveyard: You can add 1 "Revealing Light" card from your Deck to your hand. You can only use 1 effect of "Angel of Revealing Light" per turn, and only once that turn.

Card B

FLIP: Destroy attacking monster; your opponent can Special Summon 1 monster from their hand whose ATK is equal to or less than the attacking monster. If they do: Gain 1000 Life Points.

Card A acts like a Battle Fader of sorts and serve as a wall for a couple attacks, and can float another copy of itself to the hand should your opponent destroy it.

It can float Swords (if people still use it) and I think that Level 8 Yuma/Astral used at one point also.

Card B only triggers if it's attacked, and while it technically "floats", it makes the opponent do it.

Floating is usually supposed to benefit you, not the opponent.

Yes, it gives you 1000 LP, but likely your opponent will just SS another monster and rip those points off of you.

Definitely card A this time.

Follows the theme for a floater and is more useful.

Card A: In terms of flavor, the name, effect, Type, and Attribute are fitting, as the angel itself has the telltale light rays that most "Of [insert adverb here] Light" cards have, and looks somewhat inorganic (not sure if this is the right word to use) for an angel, similar to the archangels from Shin Megami Tensei IV.

In terms of playability, it's a Battle Fader that searches, giving you more time to protect yourself in case you didn't draw the cards you needed. The OPT clause is most likely needed here, since, well, let's face it, your opponent could have a bunch of monsters on the field or one or two that can attack multiple times, and in that situation, this would be kind of overpowered.

Card B: For flavor, I think a more suitable name would be "Ballistic Angel", since there's no ballista or similar weaponry here.

For playability, well, it doesn't float in a traditional sense. Sure, it has to do with the hand, but they're not adding anything to it. There's really no point to this card aside from the healing factor, and even then, this card will most likely get destroyed anyway, and the gained life points will go to waste.

My vote goes to Card A.
