Before I do, top 5 games that were shown first there, top 5 games that were there at all, top 5 games that I'm excited for despite no/little gameplay known?

I need to know exactly what you're basing this off of first.

It can be as broad as just having been given a cg trailer, but you can decide for yourself what games you think deserve to be nominated based on how much you think needs to have been shown.

Whatever game had the best showing and impressed the most.

  1. Super Mario Maker

Fire Emblem Fates

Yokai Watch (if what we learn from the Treehouse counts)

Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam

Star Fox Zero

Triforce Heroes/Yoshi's Woolly World (if what we learn from the Treehouse doesn't count, would be tied for me)

Only watched the Sony, Nintendo, and Square Enix ones but still out of them, the showings that impressed and excited me the most were...

  1. No Man's Sky
  2. Yoshi's Woolly World
  3. Assassin's Creed Syndicate
  4. Final Fantasy VII Remake
  5. Star Ocean 5: Integrity and Faithlessness

Honorable mentions include Horizon: Zero Dawn, Kingdom Hearts III, Hitman, Mario and Luigi: Paper Jam, and the Legend of Zelda: Triforce Heroes.

FE Fates didn't make the list because I've been hyping for that since forever and what was shown seemed pitifully small in comparison to how much was shown in Japan already (though the Treehouse Live more than made up for it later). But it's still the game I'm most looking forward to, nonetheless.

Long ago, we looked upon a foreboding sky. The memory of the star that threatened all burns eternal in our hearts. In its wake came an age of silence. Yet with each fond remembrance, we knew: those encountered were not forgotten. That someday, we would see them, again. Perhaps it was no more than wishful thinking. But after the long calm, there are now the beginnings of a stir. The reunion at hand may bring joy, it may bring fear, but let us embrace whatever it brings. For they are coming back. At last, the promise has been made.

It'll probably be a few years before I can even play this, but just for the exposure this will get and the chance to watch playthroughs of this have me…vibrating. I'm not the only one either, RIGHT in the PRIME of the childhood.

funk, I'm bad at listing favorites but here we go.

1. FFVII

2. The Last Guardian

3. Star Fox Zero

4. Mario Maker

5. Kingdom Hearts 3

FFVII and The Last Guardian were easily two of the most hyped things since people have been wanting a FFVII remake for years and people were starting to think The Last Guardian was becoming vaporware. Star Fox Zero and Mario Maker are both really cool and I love the developer insight portions of them talking about stuff, like the origin of Star Fox and how they used to make the original Mario stages. And Kingdom Hearts 3 had a cool gameplay trailer and we're finally getting more of the Kingdom Hearts story once the game is released.

Dark Souls III was technically my favorite but in terms of showing, all it got was a cg trailer and a closed door demo, so I won't put it on the list.
