Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your Deck or hand) by the effect of "Sacrifice to the Forbidden One," and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. Cannot be destroyed by battle or by card effects. Each time this monster attacks: Apply these effects in sequence:
- Add 1 DARK monster with 1000 or less ATK from your deck or Graveyard to your hand.
- Add one counter on this card. For each counter added by this effect: This monster gains 700 ATK. When this card reaches five counters: Your opponent wins the duel.

Cannot be Special Summoned. If this card is Normal/Flip Summoned: Pick either the top card from your opponents Deck or one card from your opponents hand; Reveal that card.

- If it is a monster: Banish that card.
- If it is a Spell/Trap: Return it to the top of your opponents Deck. This card cannot attack the turn a Spell/Trap was returned to the top of your opponents deck by this effect.

There is already a ritual monster that needs the parts of Exodia in order to be summoned, and it isn't as situational as this, somehow. That one needs all of Exodia to be in the graveyard, this needs most of Exodia to be in your graveyard, but the main piece in your deck, so, if the main piece is in your hand, you can't summon it. Oh, and it also can't be summoned from your hand itself.

Exodia Necross isn't a Ritual Monster - although considering how Contract with Exodia works, it might as well be.

It shares the same awkward conditions as the Assault Mode cards. Get this card in hand and it's a dead draw, calling for you to have a way to shuffle it into the Deck. At least allow this card to be Ritual Summoned from the hand.

The main effect is awkward too. Supposedly it discourages you from attacking with this card, but without any further effects, what else can it do but attack? And if it connects directly 3 times your opponent is dead anyway, making the presence of its effect rather moot outside of niche situations.

Thanks for the input guys.

EDIT:

-Gave him a new effect that encourages the player to attack with him and make him stronger.

-Removed the direct attack effect as it was too OP when combined with the new one.

-He can now be summoned through the ritual from the Deck or hand.

-He cannot be destroyed by battle or card effects, similarly to Beelze. This is so he can stand on his own against raigeki/effects/mirror force etc that would destroy him. Opponent can still use cylinder to redirect attack and if he has stacked up some counters, the one who played him will be in for a surprice.

EDIT2:

-Now the DARK monster must have 1000 or less ATK. With this you could possibly set up a OTK by taking back all of the pieces of Exodia to your hand.

After consideration, I left the ritual spell card effect that you can only send Exodia the Forbidden One to the Graveyard from your Deck as is. The player will have to somehow return it to the deck, e.g Magical Mallet/Reload
