New Jace is interesting. Getting the cards in the graveyard is not hard so he is basically a turn delayed Snapcaster in older formats that you can keep getting use out of.

New Nissa seems pretty good too. Scry staying around means that effect, and most others like it, are going to be a lot better going forward.

Didn't like Jace at first glance, but the more and more I look he seems not half bad, if only for the loot and the -3. Delayed flashback, as Flame said, is always good. If you've played something like Thought Scour, you can flip and flashback in the same turn. Dies to Abrupt Decay, though, so that's a big hole in the plan. (Seriously, "dies to Abrupt Decay" is the new "dies to Doom Blade.")

Nissa, though... Eurgh. Not too big a fan. She's got no protection as a creature and is terribly inefficient if you want to flip her.

Even on a normal curve its not hard. Two fetch lands, 2 spells, and one activation. Getting the 2 spells in the yard isn't hard, especially in older formats.

Yea, Nissa's creature half is weak. Had it put the Forest into play that would have been a ton better. Plus she takes the longest to flip of all the double faced walkers.

Nissa seems absolutely impossible to flip in a regular game. Lovely concept, but it's been costed awfully everywhere.

Jace has promise. I'd play it mostly because it's a Merfolk Looter+ which is totally acceptable. Will definitely get cubed though.

She at least seems good in commander. Not that hard to flip there and being able to ramp for free or draw cards is pretty strong. The more I think about it the more 7 seems like 2 lands too high for a shot at standard.

I'm think he has a chance for Modern. As I said, a turn delayed Snapcaster is still pretty strong and I'm sure the + will be helpful in some matches.
