ihop
I feel Soul Charge is very mediocre in here. It's just an easy way to get OTK'ed in a deck with only 1 Book of Moon as backrow (why Book of Moon, anyway? If you need it as a Djinn out, play Eclipse) that has no way of making a properly established field that can't be broken through unless you draw one of your 3 Astral Forces. CLG Klavier
Muscle memory to throw it in. This deck doesn't really need that much backrow since it's just power play after power play and 3 Lances are putting in work in protecting S0 or Lightning during opponent's turn. Plus I don't really have space. So I can cut the Charge and BoM for 2 Eclipses. Also I need space for Lavalval Chain in extra. Dumping Performages/Astral Force sounds quite good. ihop
Nothing wrong with no backrow, just not with Soul Charge. If anything cut a Utopia, if you've made 3 big Utopia chains you've probably won already.
CLG Klavier
I can try that. Makes sense, I usually end up winning after S0/Lightning or double Lightning anyways.
Spinny
Upstart delays games by giving them more life, you will mostly likely draw into all 3 if the deck goes off, meaning that they will either gain 3000 and you cant close the game, or it's dead and you still cant. Upstart doesnt really feel right in this deck. Only 2 instant fusion? Vanity > this deck. Run galaxy cyclone/ MST, it's a lesson i learnt the hard way from ihop drawing into it 2 out of 3 games. Plus the qli matchup isnt the greatest anyway so galaxy cyclone/mst really wont hurt. (Traps in-general shut the deck down far too much.) Backrow. Really good in here with Change tactics, draw into it and shut off the last effort they can make whilst you have S0. You could probably side BoE and BoM cus they arent that useful outside of Nekroz in all seriousness in this deck. You can easily side Mistake aswell, only card you are running that searches is Damajuggler so yeah. Forbidden lance? O.o Just run MST if you are worrying about S/T, attack is never really a problem. Remove overlay regen, imo it just looks inconsistent, you'll only have to use S0 twice anyway. Just my opinions on the deck, looks fairly solid otherwise. CLG Klavier
Just run MST if you are worrying about S/TCome back to me when you rethink this.
Spinny
Come back to me when you rethink this. ? Lose 1 turn, Skill drain etc etc Those are the biggest threats and mst is more effective.
ihop
Galaxy Cyclone is awesome in fairness, especially since you really do lose to L1T
CLG Klavier
? Lose 1 turn, Skill drain etc etc Those are the biggest threats and mst is more effective. Opponent sets 3 cards during their turn when I have S0 up. My turn comes, they flip Compulsory. MST so helpful. MST is shit in maindeck because this deck loses only to floodgates which aren't that common in main nowadays aside from random Vanity or Qliphorts. Lance helps against Raigeki. Compulse etc. If I lose to floodgates I can just side 3 MST 3 Twister, but this is a turbo deck, maindeck has to be as consistent and sturdy as humanly possible, and Lance is useful more often than MST will be. EDIT: I can run Galaxy Cyclone, but saying MST protects from backrow better than Lance is just idiotic.
