Crescendoo
(I posted in the wrong forum section, so here is the updated version in the correct section.) PLEASE READ: (This is my first time making cards like these, so bear with me if they seem a little overpowered.) (Also, If you want to view all of the card artwork, the link to download the jpegs is here: http://imgur.com/a/JApsK Hello everyone, and welcome to my Cloudian Dream Support thread. Cloudians are one of my personal favorite Archetypes in the game, and one of the most interesting in my opinion. I feel that the cards that I've made help compliment this archetype well in its current state, and give them a bit of a competitive edge. Cloudian - Cirrus WATER/Monster/Fairy/Effect: Attack: 900 Defense: 0 This card cannot be destroyed by battle. If this card is in face-up Defense Position, destroy it. When you Normal Summon this card, place 1 Fog Counter on it for each "Cloudian" monster on the field. You can remove 2 Fog Counters from this card to draw 2 cards. You can only use this effect of "Cloudian - Cirrus" once per turn. You can only use one "Cloudian - Cirrus" effect once per turn. Why I chose to make this card: Cloudians really don't have any draw power besides tech cards like Moray of Greed. This helps them to get the cards that they need faster, without going too crazy with the card advantage. Cloudian Skypalace Spell Card/Field Spell All battle damage done to "Cloudian" monsters is halved. Once per turn, during each of your Standby Phases, you can add 2 Fog Counters to this card. If this card would be destroyed by a card effect, you can remove 1 Fog Counter instead. Why I chose to make this card: Cloudian monsters cannot go into Defense mode, and the majority of them, except for Altus and Eye of the Typhoon, have 1000 atk or less. This helps to alleviate battle damage you will more then likely be taking. The card may be a bit of an annoyance, being you have to use a few resources to get rid of it, but it's not a game-breaking card by any means. Evaporation Trap Card/Normal Trap Card Activate only if you control at least 1 "Cloudian" monster. Tribute one "Cloudian" monster, then Special Summon 1 "Cloudian" monster from your hand or deck, and place 3 Fog Counters on that card. You can only activate one "Evaporation" once per turn. Why I chose to make this card: Helps to speed the deck up and go for Turbulence plays, Monster or Spell and Trap removal, or to draw more cards. Gift of Clouds Spell Card/Normal Spell Card Target 1 "Cloudian" monster you control. Place 2 Fog Counters on that card. You can only activate 1 "Gift of Clouds" per turn. Why I chose to make this card: Once again, speeds the deck up, and allows you to go into plays faster. The final card is something I think would be really fun to use. All of these cards to me would be of course, but this one especially. Cloudian King - Tornadius WATER/Fairy/Monster/Effect Attack: 3500 Defense: 3000 Effect: This card cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by removing from play 3 Level 4 Fairy type "Cloudian" monsters in your graveyard whose original names are different from each other. This card cannot be destroyed by battle. This card cannot attack. If this card would be destroyed by a card effect, you can remove 3 Fog Counters from this card instead. When this card has 20 Fog Counters, you win the Duel. Why I chose to make this card: I've always loved alternate win condition cards, and I feel that getting 20 Fog Counters on this card in the current state of this game isn't an easy task. Save for Exodia and Final Countdown, alternate win conditions are generally not easy to pull off, and I feel that this card is a fair win condition that you have to play strategically to get. Thank you all very much for viewing this thread. Like I said, if you want to download any of the cards with the art on them, the link to my imgur page is at the top of the thread.
