You can only control 1 "Scab Scar-Knight". This card cannot bedestroyed by battle. If this card is in face-up Defense Positiondestroyit. Your opponent's monsters must attack this card, if able. At the end of the Battle Phase, you can take control of 1 monster that battled this card.

 

Basically Snatch Steal in Card Form, minus the LP gaining effect.

 

Personally, I love this card. It's a high risk vs. reward scenario, but if you can outlast your opponent, they'll be seeing stars soon.

 

Also, it's freaking Evangelion Unit 01.

This card only honestly works in the games.

Outside of that, it's a sitting duck.

Oh god. Don't even get me started on this thing combined with Spirit Barrier. <3 Can you say "Have fun getting killed by your own monsters with no drawback for me"? X3

Which is why I said This card only works in the games, since if it's something like Tagforce 2, or whatever, the opponent can't really do anything against that because such cards don't exist.

Oh, I see. Sorry, I wasn't sure what you meant at first. ^^;

 

But as previously stated, you can combine this card with stuff like Waboku and Spirit Barrier to cause some real mayhem against your opponent without taking damage.

Lance/Safe Zone/etc would be more reliable, IMO.
You won't really care too much if you take damage from This, since all you want is for the effect to go off.

Yeah, but negating the damage you'd take from battles with it would help, since otherwise it's a giant damage sponge with a great effect.

I like how Utopic Future kinda sorta does this card's job, but better.

 

In any event, you'd have to crash this thing into what you're trying to take, and even that can backfire. 

 

I guess Safe Zone + this would be a cute setup; bonus points if you can get Master Key Beetle on board to protect the Safe Zone.

Well, Utopic Future is kinda hard to get on the field, all things considered.

 

Yeah, but cards like Stop Defense exist regardless.

 

That is a pretty great setup, as mentioned previously by Armz.

Only that utopic future only controls temporarily and thus would not control more than one monster (and only for one battle phase) under normal circumstances.

 

I'm....aware of that (Did you just completely miss the "kinda sorta" part of that?).

 

The big difference between Utopic Future and this is that Utopic Future has somewhat better protection, and it doesn't require you to take a potentially massive amount of damage just to make use of your opponent's monster, even though it's temporary.
