Harry Potter: Furry Edition (Magispecters)

I know it might be a bit too early to build a Deck around them, since there might be more support for the archetype coming along, but I couldn't resist doing it because they looked so fun XD But the Deck has indeed a lot of potential; with their support S/T, plus a few other cards that work well with them, they can wipe out the opponent's field very quickly and easily.

The Magician engine helps a lot, specially with one of them being a WIND Spellcaster himself, giving the Magispecters the right scale range they need while also providing support with their effects and synergizing with another WIND Spellcaster, Blue Summoner Dragon, whom I exploit as most as possible with all the tribute-and-remove S/T and Pendulum Rising.

So, tell me what you think, guys, I had a lot of fun coming up with this build, and I hope I can help others who'd like to make a Deck centered around this theme :)

I'd run at least a copy or two of the tuner. You have 3 cards that can search it, it synergizes with Peasant/Pit, and 3+4=7, which has a fair number of good monsters... Including Meteorburst, so you can SS a magispecter from a scale early to get ahead.

I thought about that too, but then I got afraid I'd have to add Odd-Eyes, and then more support for it and the Magicians, specially Joker, who's not compatible with the Majespecters, and then I'd simply be better off building Odd-Eyes.dek. Anyhow, now with the new support unveiled, I'm planning to reformulate the Deck completely, but only after Majespecter Fox is revealed.

Yeah, I tried theorying it, and realized the Tuner isn't worth it... but that Genex Blastfan has a TON of potential here. Level 4, WIND, Spellcaster. All of these stats add up very, very well.

Issue is birdman is limited, though he absolutely enables the deck in every way. You can run controller, too, as it can give you access to Triarm for 3+3 plays, which hits a card out of the opponent's hand. Controller + 4 = Windmill Genex who, while not amazing, is a cute in-theme boss.

"Genex Controller" + 1 or more non-Tuner WIND monsters

This card gains 300 ATK for each face-down Spell and Trap Card on the field. You can send 1 card from your hand to the Graveyard to destroy 1 face-down Spell or Trap Card on the field.

Considering how much a control archetype this is, this guy is actually really cute, the main issue being that it's just going to be worse than other cards a lot of the time. However, it is worth noting that it is easy to make this a decent sized beater in the deck, which 7 otherwise has trouble with. Problem being that whatever you discard is unlikely to be value, and it's a worse Ghostrick Alucard-type card.

There's also Vindikite (for Genex Tuner + WIND), but... 1+3+4 seems like too much, especially for Monarch stats doesn't seem worth it. Sure, it can't be attacked, and it searches more genex, but...

Axel can be made for the same effort as Vindikite (in this deck), and has better stats, but is still a discard for a revival. It's also only 2600.

2+4 (no good tuners for this, sadly) and 3+3 also make Metaphys Horus, which is godly.

[s]fingers crossed for genex ally birdman to 2-3 becauae that card makes this deck work so much better[/s]

There's also R-Genex Oracle, for a Level 1 Tuner, but there's not much reason to go 4 here, and 5s aren't particularly amazing, with the exception of Armades. It could also go for 9s (rip trishula) or 8s with 3 mats, but that seems like too much investment.

All in all, the banlist could be their best friend.

How valuable are each of their S/Ts actually? (not including Majestic Pegasus).

OP may disagree, but I feel that the most valuable is the quickplay spell.

Sure, it destroys, but it's versatile.

Both traps seem decentish, but it's hard to gauge without the full support.

The normal spell seems pretty meh, though.

Yeah, being a Quick-Play gives Cyclone a big advantage over Storm, though the latter's removal method seems to be more effective in today's metagame (though I wonder how much given the amazing search power of archetypes like Necloth and Qliphort, specially considering its vastly inferior timing when compared to Fox's spell). Probably it will see more usage than its older sibling, unless a unexpected turn of events take place in the Meta. But I prefer to wait until all support has been revealed before deciding on exactly what I should use or not.
