Gimmick puppet support

the deck has a huge problem with dead draws, bad first hands and it struggles to keep its boss monsters safe to otk your opponent so tell me what you think on this 

                                                             

 

-You can discard up to 2 "Gimmick Puppet" monsters from your hand; draw one card for each. You can only use this effect of "Gimmick Puppet Theater of Illusions" once per turn

-"Gimmick Puppet" Xyz monsters are unaffected by the effects of their controller's opponent's card effects the turn they are xyz summoned.

If this is your first post, your off to a good start.

 

The first effect seems like a reasonable concept. However I'd change it to "You can discard up to 2 "Gimmick Puppet" monsters from your hand; draw one card for each. You can only use this effect of "Gimmick Puppet Theater of Illusions" once per turn." This way people don't use it for some exodia deck or something by playing multiple copies of the spell and/or returning them to your hand with card effects to use the effect again.

 

The second effect seems like a good concept but overkill in execution. I'd change it to '

"Gimmick Puppet" Xyz monsters are unaffected by the effects of their controller's opponent's card effects the turn they are xyz summoned.'

It should still serve the purpose without being too much.

 

I definitely like the overall idea of the card.

 

Also,your title says fimmick puppet support That's funny.

thanks for your help i think you are right, i forgot about the the exodia deck factor i will make those changes you suggested.
