Personally I think this card has a lot of potential as an archtype with this card

Honestly both of these cards are cool but for some reason I fell as though they should be together in an archtype

People who say certain cards are garbage are probably the same people who opened the packs from Abyss Rising to Primal Origin and thought that the Dustons are trash even though they can OTK.

damn, that's me rumbled

Neither of these really got to be nearly as important as the actually iconic cards, so I highly doubt that they will receive direct support... ever. But indirectly, Seiyaryu got a lot of support when Dragon Rulers happened, but it was outclassed by Ryu-Ran... who was outclassed by Flamvell Guard. Tri-Horned Dragon wasn't as lucky.

In Capsule Monsters Coliseum, they have a bit more luck. Tri-Horned Dragon is basically Barrel Dragon in terms of move/attack, and Bakura wrecks you with it if you can't take it out fast enough (though this is easy most of the time). Seiyaryu shares its move/attack ranges with at least three other monsters with the same Attribute, which is really weird.

But what about the cards man these are so much better and tri honestly could have been just as iconic if YOU TRIED KONAMI
HINT HINT NUDGE NUDGE!!!!!

Uh, no?

They used the Main Character aces. There's no reason to say "this woulda been better". Tri doesn't have the relation to blue-eyes, and Red-Eyes was meant to be an inferior to Blue-Eyes for the Joey/Kaiba interaction.

This would never be as iconic as an ace like that.

Blue-Eyes.

Same Level

Better stats

anything less is garbage if it doesnt have an effect/is a tuner/is a pendulum

Sorry should have been more clear the hinting was for KONAMI to try sorry
But it wouldn't have had to take red eyes place just to be kewler

For a Vanilla, does its attribute REALLY matter? It's not like people use attribute support alongside random vanillas.... Do they?

Considering this thing has no current support, I wouldn't rule out support for a level 8 DARK vanilla dragon.

Realistically this thing has about as much chance of getting support as Mushroom Man or Trent, I just enjoy nitpicking.

Tri-Horned Dragon COULD be relevant I guess if you basically built a deck based on normal dragons using a build with Azure-Eyes and Thunder End but what DysonSlinky said, Blue-Eyes is just the better option. But I would love to see a retrained Tri-Horned Dragon called like Quad-Horned Dragon or something. I still own my LOB Tri-Horn.

Here might be an idea

Unholy Flare Dragon
Fusion DARK Dragon type
Tri-Horned Dragon + Seriyaru (I think)
This card cannot be Special Summoned except by Fusion Summon. This card can only be Fusion Summoned with the above Fusion Material monsters. This cards attribute is LIGHT if you have more LIGHT attribute monsters in your Graveyard than DARK attribute monsters. Once per turn you can activate one of these effects depending on this cards attribute.
LIGHT: Select one LIGHT or DARK attribute Dragon type monster in your Graveyard. Special Summon it and halve its ATK and DEF and negate its effect.
DARK: Select one non-DARK attribute monster on the field that monsters ATK becomes 0 and it cannot be destroyed as a result of battle

What the hell do you even mean by Konami trying to make it iconic? Like what is the actual way that you imagine that scenario playing out in your head? Blue-Eyes, Red-Eyes, Dark Magician are iconic because of their being trump cards of the main characters of the first series. Do you want someone to travel back through time and introduce Tri-Horned Dragon as the boss monster of some other random character? I don't even know how this is a thread really. Moth support as mentioned by someone would be way cooler and actually make sense.
