[Leaderboard] lightdiversion vs Alpakha

Rules:

All Leaderboard rules apply.
First to 3 votes or most votes by May 22nd, 11:59PM PDT wins.
All voters must elaborate on their votes.
Both contestants and myself have the right to refuse votes, but must explain why we don't accept it.
Written cards are allowed. (Must be in written format, cards with blank pictures are not acceptable)
Card C Votes are allowed. 3 Card C votes result in a tie. If the deadline passes with Card C leading, then it's a tie.
Create a Level 1 monster that Summons another copy of itself.

Rewards:
The winner gets a rep from the loser.
All voters get a rep for voting.

Card A

You can send 1 "Medusozoa" from your hand or Deck Graveyard to increase this card's Level by 1. If you have 3 copies of "Medusozoa" total, either banished and/or in your Graveyard (combined): You can banish this card from your Graveyard to Special Summon 1 "Medusozoa" from your Graveyard. This effect of "Medusozoa" can only be used once per turn.

When an effect resolves that would Special Summon exactly 1 Dragon-Type monster from your Deck, You can Special Summon this card from your Deck instead. You can Tribute 1 other "Hieratic" monster from your hand or your field ; Special Summon 1 "Hieratic Hatchling of Khepri" from your hand or Deck.During your Main Phase: You can make all face-up "Hieratic" monsters you control become Level 4 .You can only use each effects of "Hieratic Hatchling of Khepri" once per turn. If you used any of this card's effect, you cannot Special Summon monster(s) for the rest of the turn, except by effect of "Hieratic" monster and/or Fusion,Synchro or Xyz Summon by only using "Hieratic" monsters as Materials.

Card A has the usual WATER support going for it, can set up quickly but can really only use the SS effect once before you need more setup to use it again, because you're not going to have more than one copy after using it. In that regard, using things like Surface is more useful.

Card B has a lot of potential for setup. It's nifty how an often abusable effect is put on equal terms through triggering by an effect that would do similar to begin with. I guess the main appealing play would be through Atum skipping the stat reduction. It can really spam copies of itself and abuse the hell out of Hieratic's triggers.

Voting for A, because its application of the requirement feels fresh, it inserts itself into decks better and despite being less restricted feels less abusable.
