Flash Flyer - Sakura
A lot of entries in this round seem to use the "banish a monster" path a lot, don't they? Card A is more Alien support that banishes a monster, if your opponent is foolish enough to use effect removal on it. Although with that in mind, not really familiar with Aliens, but this is another way to get the necessary counters. Also, still a relatively good beatstick. Like a lot of cards, I have some reservations regarding its on-destruction effect (especially with stuff like Raigeki being common now) in multiples. Although with that being said, it's going to banish a monster regardless (if able), so indeed it can still backfire. ---- Card B provides protection against Castel / 101 and other common threats; and can summon another copy of itself during the End Phase. Being a generic Level 5 Synchro means that a few Decks will be able to run it (and certainly having an out to common threats is a plus). So essentially, this card can replace itself two times if opponent is careless + destroys it with card effects. After the first one, your opponent will likely be smarter about carelessing using effect removal. If this card replaced itself after being destroyed in any manner by your opponent [including battle], then I'd have a problem. But since it can still be run down in battle (2300 ATK is still on the lower end, although perfectly fine for a Level 5) and that won't trigger the effect, that balances it enough. --- I'm going with card B on this for overall usability. Honestly, I can see this being rather useful against certain cards nowadays. Card A's really only useful with its intended Deck, unless you opt to randomly throw this in another Deck for the banishing thing.
