chaoticjexak
so bought forza horizon 2 for xbox 360 9cus xbox one is too expensive for me) and i really like the game. I've seen people play th one version, and I'm like 'i wnna piece o dat.' . so i bought it. for a while i was happy with the game- until i completed it. the xbox one version carries on so much further than the main game. now- i can understand a few missing features- but the ENTIRE after game?! that is not fair. and this gap is only going to grow. i spent £40 on an incomplete game..i feel cheated….. Agro
Welcome to video games, kid. Doesn't sound like you're gonna last long.
chaoticjexak
XD I've been a gamer for years though- i guess these things happen- its just a shame as the extra road trips were what compelled me to buy the game in the first place :/
Agro
I'm just saying there's a reason it's $40 and people don't generally buy last-gen versions of games on next-gen consoles.

The Amazing Avian
How is the current generation of consoles "next gen" exactly? Because when you think about the meaning of the term, it makes no sense.
chaoticjexak
well- its next gen compared to 360-ps4- and its still relatively fresh..its counted as next gen until games are no longer released for old gen
The Amazing Avian
It doesn't really matter how fresh they are, developers are intending for their new releases to be for these consoles, making them the current generation. It's the same as referring to today as tomorrow or 2015 as next year. The terminology doesn't make sense and I really don't understand why articles are published referring to current consoles as next gen. I think it's in part to push the console sales by making them seem new, but to me it's the same as the examples above.
chaoticjexak
thats…actually a really ..good point.. but i think as well- one people don't want to accept the jump.
Agro
It's next gen because 360, PS3, and Wii have install bases of over 80 million each and the prior two still have purchasing power, which is why games are being developed for both generations, which is why both are considered current gen. Next gen delineates between the two. Also they're only a year and a half old.
