The kingdom and the abyss.[Interest check/OoC/PG16]

[spoiler=setting] The old world is a under the surface of the world, it is a place were the oldest and most dangerous creatures lurk, the surface contains advanced civilizations, while the old world holds the banished, and the forgotten. After thousands of years the old world is stirring and the most wicked creatures and most powerful are awakening, the people on the surface can only fell the raw power shaking under the feet. There have been many wars in the old world with its faint green light but the strong and the true have civilized a small part, were they live life in a new way, the small kingdom has people who were banished for practicing forgotten arts such as magic and swordplay. They life an honest life and enjoy the finer details of life. The kingdom which rest in the heart of the old world is a gray stone with white marble. It is completely surrounded in forest. While this kingdom houses the true, there are wicked and evil people out in the old world. One creature that has lived since the dawn of the time, the mandrack. The mandrack is a tree species, that in its early years walks, until it either dies or finds a spot with energy, and grows in to a large tree with veins the cover the ground, only once will it every move again and that is to die. The mandrack is a seeker of knowledge and will trade it for some equal whether that is energy or knowledge. When the mandrack dies more of its species is born from with its knowledge. Last in this old world is a fountain with magic so powerful any one who drank from with would have powers said to match a god. The fountain is protected by dragons who's soul purpose is to protect it and kill any one who dare approach it. [/spoiler]

[spoiler=plot] The old world is growing restless and the creatures in are on edge. The little kingdom(Salit) and or others are trying to stop the awakening of these great creatures. The king is sending out search parties and is investigating into the matters. Besides this there are small battles taking place for a foot hold in the old world.

There is a small group of people, some may say a cult, that are trying to awaken the creatures. To awaken the creatures they must kill the guardians of the fountain and drink from it giving them the strength to bring the end of the world. They believe that the world must be destroyed so that it can grow stronger and bring a bout the coming of the next world. The members of this group would have to be skilled fights with both magic and swords.

The kings men as they call there selves are the ones who wish to save the world. To do so they must bargain with the guardians of the fountain and drink from it, using its power to seal away the creatures that would end the world for another age to come.

Both groups would have to find the mandrack and convince him to tell then were the fountain lies. Will you aid the king, or awaken the end of the worlds. The end is near. [/spoiler]
