Klesk
Yeah the picture is pretty much Scarr, but dig the effects?
Trebuchet MS
Quite strange. This card aside, DW doesn't have any means of excavation, so its full effect is nearly meaningless. Unless we change the wording a little bit... If this card is discarded to the Graveyard by a card effect: If it was discarded from your hand to your Graveyard by an opponent's card effect, Add all "Dark World" cards excavated this turn to your hand; Excavate cards from the top of your Deck until you excavate a "Dark World" monster, then is revealed. add it to your hand, also if this card was discarded to the Graveyard by an opponent's card effect, add all other excavated "Dark World" cards to your hand, then shuffle all other the remaining cards into your the Deck. The effect puts it at odds with Snoww - Snoww tutors any Dark World card, while this card only pulls out Dark World monsters, with little control over what it will hit. If you do manage to get its full effect it can potentially be a major plus depending on what you excavate - on the other hand all that value can whiff if the next card is a DW monster. Lack of control over what you can get usually means people would rather use Snoww.
Klesk
I tried to use the same structure as Snoww does to explain her effect. To simplify it, show cards until you see a Dark World Monster, that monster goes to your hand. If your opponent discarded it, you may keep any Dark World (spell/trap) cards in between the monster. (There aren't that many useful Dark World spell/trap cards aide from dealings.) No hes not as good as Snoww, unless your opponent were to discard it. however he would be the first Dark World Tuner. ;)
Trebuchet MS
Yes, I've kinda grasped the idea by looking at it, but the Snoww wording doesn't express it well. Anything between colons and semicolons are part of the cost, and take place before effect resolution. The original wording meant that you would add excavated cards before you even begin excavating, which is clearly not what you were going for. Snoww's (and Goldd's, and Sillva's, etc) format was because its secondary opponent-discarded effect had a target. I didn't notice the Tuner part. This property makes it not too shabby. Note that Gateway to Dark World is also well-used in many DW Decks, so being able to pick that up is also nice.
Klesk
Yeah I probably should have used another Dark World monster for a template, heh I just remembered the reason they wrote Snoww that way was because of timing and and requirements. whooops. I was thinking over all a card like this would help the dark world decks that focus on Virus controls (since none of the good DW monsters have less then 1000 attack) and those that are syncro heavy. I personally dont bother with reborn cards or synchros. my deck WAS focused on getting 2 EE Virus and 1 skill drain first move, up until that was all messed up... now I think im going to have to resort to a cheaper strategy... Disturbance Strategy/Null and Void. Then siding in absorbing jar...
Sir Yamiegg
If it Special Summoned itself after use and had a hard OPT clause it would be worth it.
cardffreakxx
strange effect, and not really seeing the synergy with DW. If it special summoned itself then that i would play 3 of. Easy level 8 Synchros
