Flash Flyer - Sakura
Yusei/Jack/Crow can certainly hold their own without Speed Spells. That, and they're smart enough to use whatever's available (In this version, Crow should be intelligent enough to use them) Although Yuya has that annoying Deck of his, which P-Summons to no end and Yuzu has that lock, assuming the rules, they'd get in the way of Shun's Raptors because field clog. So yeah, not that great of synergy here. So yeah, Team 5D's for consistency. --------- Yusei & Jack Atlas vs Yuya and Reiji5Ds Turbo Duel (however manga version, where regular S/T are allowed)Assume all supports existNo Action Cards.(Yuya CAN still trigger Spells, but now he has to rely on whatever is in his Main Deck)
Draconus297
I think that Yuya/Reiji have this, however narrowly. Even without Action Cards, Reiji is a force to be reckoned with, especially when you consider he can negate absolutely everything for a turn with Kali Yuga, which utterly murders Yusei's Deck. Surprisingly, against 5D's Jack, I think Yuya could hold his own (if not take him down) thanks to Beast-Eyes, Rune-Eyes, and OERD. Plus, given that Jack runs on destruction with very little negation or piercing, Yuya and Reiji recur too much with the help of Pendulums- he's surprisingly of very little help here. Bommer (Reactors and Immortal Whale) v. Shinji (THE BEES) Arc-V Turbo Duel. Since a lot of people forget what the Reactors do, I'll put their IRL effects in a spoiler[spoiler=Reactors]Summon Reactor SK800 damage the first time your opponent Summons in a turn. If this effect activates, you can negate 1 attack later in the turn (you can use it to negate your own attacks for Double or Nothing if your opponent Summons during your turn) Spell Reactor Y FI800 damage the first time a Spell Card is activated by your opponent in a turn. If you activate this effect, you can negate and destroy any Spell activated that turn, except the Spell that set off the damage effect. Trap Reactor RE800 damage the first time a Trap is activated in a turn, then you can negate and destroy any Trap activated later in the turn, except the one that set off the damage effect All 3: if they're all face-up on the field, you can Tribute them all to Special Summon SKY FIRE from your hand . . . I don't have SKY FIRE, so I don't remember exactly what it does, except that it brings back the Reactors if it dies.
~Faytl~
Summon Reactor can hose Shinji, but Bomber has to tribute summon that unless he can cheat it out with Fake Explosion. Still, Shinji's deck is just a bit faster, so as long as Bomber doesn't get out Sky Fire or his Earthbound Immortal, Shinji should take this. But if Bomber gets out either, especially the Earthbound Immortal, Shinji is absolutely and completely screwed. I think I'd give this one, ultimately, to Bomber Dennis vs Aki
Flash Flyer - Sakura
Dennis, because Clowns are Rank 4 spam to all hell + stupidly consistent. -------Yusei & Crow vs Yuya & Yugo (see episode 84/85)5Ds Turbo Duel (Regular Spells CAN be activated, but will result in 2000 LP damage for doing so.)Assume Yuya and Yugo have learned to use Speed Spells to an extentAll support exists. No plot armor
Mr Dr Professor Spaz
Well, Yuya's effectively screwed out of the duel due to lack of ability to use his Pendulums. If this is shared LP, then Yuya/Yugo team dies from setting Pendulum scales. If not, Pendulum scales just kill Yuya, leaving Yugo to face Yusei and Crow. I'll say Yusei/Crow. Valon vs Kachidoki
Flash Flyer - Sakura
They have separate LP, so yeah Yuya either has to fight without his Scales (which I have no idea if they can) or he'd better have something to turn the LP burn into pluses, otherwise they die, (For Tag Teams, assume each player has their own field / LP / whatever) OT: Valon has more consistency with Seal up.That, and he hits harder. (Kachidoki deserves a few knocks) -------Yuya vs ReijiYuya doesn't get plot armor for being the main protagonist. Both have access to their current support cards released in SD29/30Non-Action Duel (come on Yuya, you still have access to whatever S/T support you choose to run)

Draconus297
Bakura. He's too passive to get caught in Sergey's setup, and given that the Thorn monsters all have 0 ATK, Sergey can't hope to take down Bakura's Life Points before Destiny Board finishes. And, when you take into consideration that Bakura gives no consideration to his monsters, he wouldn't mind simply Tributing them to escape the burn damage of Thorn Counters. Side character face-off!Hasselberry v. Trudge v. Choujiro
Mr Dr Professor Spaz
I'd have to give this to Hasselberry. Chojiro relies on lucky draws, and it doesn't help that Trudge never once won an onscreen duel. Sergey vs Kachidoki. Action Duel, so Kachidoki has a reason to try to beat up Sergey
Flash Flyer - Sakura
Sergey doesn't give a sheet about Kachidoki trying to assault him with martial arts, and most likely will just torture the hell out of him later with Thorn Counters / whatever. So yeah, going with him, though Idaten may be an issue. Then again, Kachidoki only knows how to Fusion Summon and treat duels as MMA. -----Oh, here's a good one. Yami Marik vs Sergey

Draconus297
Yubel. Her loops are endless (only being broken by BS plot cards), and she literally can't take Battle Damage. Plus, given how she uses monster replacement, she won't be taking much burn damage against the likes of the Thorn Counter-producing cards. Yugo (all Speedroids, plus Clear/Crystal Wing) v. Update!Yusei (all Synchrons/Warriors, plus Stardust/Shooting Star) v. Update!Jack (all Resonators, plus RDASL/RDAAbyss)Assume 5D's Turbo Duel.Use canon personalities. Flash Flyer - Sakura
Sergey. And that would be so fun to watch.Considering how much the quiz kid is hated, it would be fun as hell to watch him get creamed hard by Sergey. OT: Going with Yusei on this one.Jack can come close, but overall I think it'll be a repeat of 5Ds 153/154 in the end, even with the new supports. Same with Yugo. ---Anyway.... Flash Flyer - Sakura
Kaiba, because Lazar doesn't have a proper Deck as far as we know. -----------Yusei vs quiz kid vs Sergey vs MarikStanding duelAll supports are available (so Yusei can spam SD28 support and whatever else; Marik has his new Ra stuff and Juragedos)Treat this as a Shadow Game, so when players lose LP, they feel pain. TF2_The_Scout
Jar Jar, I mean, Quiz Kid of course. Always vote for the underdog. Though, I wonder how Yuya would fair in a Shadow Duel. The prison warden from 5Ds(I'm bad with names, but the one Yusei dueled using a card given to him by all the prisoners) vs Pegasus with current Toon support
Draconus297
I'm giving this to Pegasus. Iron Chain was never a good archetype, and as far as we know that warden can't even Synchro for their Dragon. Meanwhile, given a lot of the new Toon support . . . Pegasus has this handily. Flash Flyer - Sakura
Giving this to Shun because RRs are a hell of a lot more consistent than Garbage Lord/53/92. ----------Since someone wanted this fight. Yuya vs Kachidoki vs Yami Marik vs that quiz kidRegular standard duel (no Action Cards)Shadow Game (if player takes damage to their LP, they suffer an equivalent amount of pain). All support cards are available, as are any variants.Marik has access to all of his key cards and an unnerfed Ra.Yuya has SD29 support and whatever build Black has for him.Standard 8000LP.P.S. Hexanort
Kachidoki and the Quiz kid is basically nothing without action card, if yuya go 1st turn with OCG Pepe...no one will get any chance to play (shock master calling spell+rafflesia will shutdown everyone else) so most likely yuya, the only chance marik have if he start before yuya and can tribute summon RA on his first turn (which is unlikely since his play is focused on keep reviving ra from grave) , and even then, yuya can still ram UTL if RA doesnt have 5000+ atk, so yuya take this 5ds Signer Crow vs Shun (both use anime deck, no access to generic support)
