Draconus297
I haven't caught up to the anime yet, but I say Yuto. These resonating dragons have effects that only trigger against Level 5 or higher monsters, and Yuto is the only one without such a monster. Female member battle royale! (Most pointless post ever)Tea v. Alexis v. Aki v. Tori v. Yuzu
~Faytl~
Tea and Tori suck, so they're out. Alexis actually has a lot of ways to get around Yuzu's deck, a la Cyber Tutu and Doble Passé. But I would have to say Aki would take it, having the most explosive plays. Kaiba vs Zane vs Jack Atlas vs Kaito vs Reiji
Draconus297
Kaiba has been power-crept out, so no.Zane and Jack essentially use OTK engines, so with either of them it's a massive game of chance. Kaito's Galaxy-Eyes setup is near-unstoppable against OTHER Xyz decks, which only Reiji uses, and even he uses them sparingly. Reiji uses a great deal of strategy, but given how trigger-happy his opponents are he might not have enough of a chance to get to it, especially with the possibility of Neo Galaxy-Eyes immediately ending him if he goes for Xyz plays. If we go by GX-era bottomless Extra Deck in regards to Fusions, I give this to Zane; if not, I think Kaito has it. Joey v. Jesse. Crow v. Shark v. Gongenzaka
Mr Dr Professor Spaz
Joey relies on luck, mainly, so I'd say he's out. Crystal Beasts are terrible nowadays, so Jesse's out. This leaves Crow, Shark, and Gongenzaka. Of the 3, I'd say Crow has the most consistent deck, so Crow wins. Joey vs Syrus (anime decks, no irl support)
Draconus297
If we go by the Japan-only Season 4, Syrus has access to 'roids, Cybers, and Cyberdarks, and is quite possibly the most competent non-villain character pre-5D's. Joey uses luck, Red-Eyes, Jinzo, and power-crept cards. Yeah, Syrus has this handily. For a twist:Yusei v. Jack v. Crow, minus plot armor, with the stipulation that only one has to lose (a la Jaden v. Jesse v. Clear World .dek)
The Nyx Avatar
Syrus. Better Main Deck and Fusion Monsters. Damn! Ninja'd! Yusei takes this one solely because he has the best strategy. Crow comes at a close second. Even with current support, Yusei would win. Draconus297
If you haven't seen a character Duel, don't respond to that particular post, otherwise there won't be even judgement. That said, Dartz. Sanity has its advantages, plus Dartz just seemed smarter in general than Marik in his strategy. Yuugo v. Yusei
The Nyx Avatar
Yusei (especially with new support) Yubel vs Anna
~Faytl~
Anna has a way around Yubel w/ her Gustav, so if she can get off 2 of that she wins. Although her monsters DO have a lot of atk for Yubel to take advantage of... I say Yubel. Sawatari (current deck) vs Chazz (Ojama/Armed Dragon)Assume their decks work as well as they do in the anime
Draconus297
Surprisingly, I think this one might go to Chazz.Yes, the Abyss Actors are Pendulums that the Armed Dragon line would have to blow up repeatedly, but everyone's least favorite blond is exceedingly cocky whilst Dueling ANYONE, and might spend so much time showboating that Chazz can lock him down with the Ojamas- or, worse, pop his only functioning Scales, Devil Heel and Funky Comedian. Notably, Chazz has a somewhat cohesive strategy, and a few notable wins under his belt (one via Inferno Tempest/RFtDD, an insanely competent combo for a character from the anime), and Sawatari . . . doesn't. He has yet to win at all whilst onscreen. At all. Shadow Riders v. Dark Signers (5 v. 5, no shared fields)
Mr Dr Professor Spaz
I don't think any of the Shadow Riders have ways of getting around 1 of the Earthbound Gods, much less 5 of them. Btw, weren't there 7 of each? Sergey vs Yubel
goodfusion
Yubel would win, they have a good variety of at least decent decks (e.g Exodia) while Sergey's seems very difficult to use. Sergey vs. Yami Marik (torture deck vs torture deck)
~Faytl~
Sergey would take this, Marik has little in the way of effect negation, and Lava Golem seems to be his best out, which just lowers Sergey's life points more and invites him to be OTKd. The Nyx Avatar
Gongenzaka Ruka/Luna (anime Deck) vs Jaden (anime Deck)
Mr Dr Professor Spaz
I'd have to give this to Jaden. Ruka really doesn't have anything to offensively pressure Jaden, and he could easily break through her defenses. III vs IV vs V vs Tron

Draconus297
I'm gonna have to give this to Sora. If nothing else, his Deck is a hell of a lot more consistent- Dennis has the random as hell Ancient Gear cards teched in, and they're only slowing his Performage engine. Action Cards nonwithstanding, Sora has yet to use a card that wasn't either generic or support to his Frightfur engine. Let's do something fun:Sora v. Masumi v. JadenIgnore plot armor, but all strategic moves they've used, and all possible support for their archetypes, is on the table.Assume a non-Action Duel. Flash Flyer - Sakura
As HEROs are now, Jaden screws the crap out of Sora and Masumi. ---Yusei vs Jack vs Yuya vs Yuzu Assume the following conditions.Plot armor is non-existent5Ds era Turbo Duel (Speed Counters + Speed Spells exist, plus non-Speed Spells cannot be triggered)Assume that all support cards are available.Yusei and Jack retain their ability to Clear Mind and Burning Soul.No Action Cards.
Mr Dr Professor Spaz
The lack of Action Cards by itself eliminates Yuya and probably Yuzu (if not that, then her inability to use her Spell Cards/Polymerization). This leaves Jack and Yusei. I'm gonna go with Yusei for generally making the smarter plays. Yuma (Anime) vs Yuma (Manga) Neither one gets any of their Numbers
