I still don't get why you insist that demagogue deserves his spot, especially at 2. He does so much less than claw that you have no reason to not just go into claw.

There aren't any other strides to play right now. He'll be cut as soon as they get OTHER strides.

I'm assuming Claw will go down to 2 and Demagogue will go out for 90 of Gilles.

You could probably play 1 Charharlot over a fourth Marquis Amon so you can benefit from calling a Pure Love early (if you've got nothing else) and cycle through cards. That's how I feel on a lot of decks that can fit it though.

I was about to ask why consider the vanilla triggers, then I remembered Hell's Nail requires an Especial Counterblast.

Deck looks really solid and comfortable compared to builds with Yellow Bolts and the other old cards.

Claw and Gilles

Probably not. Claw is one of the reasons why this deck is so good in the first place, since being able to slam him down on the board turn after turn and force your opponent to guard consistent +12s after taking a massive beating from Astaroth is the definition of potency.

Charharlot over 4th Amon

Nope, not only is the Amon name far too important but Amon has incredible synergies with Madu that made me play 4 of him over the 3 I was before. Also because Amon is proving to be a lot better than I originally had him cast as nowadays since the Amon name really is a fabulous one to have now. Also it's incredibly easy to just lose all of your Amons due to how much soulcharging you do, averaging around 20 card souls every game, so you need to maximise chances of being able to actually legion with him in the first place.

Vanilla Triggers

You don't have to play Vanilla Triggers, I'm still toying with the idea of what triggers I should be playing. I think I'm going to play Psychic Waitress but going to cut Greedy Hand for Dark Knight of Nightmareland since Dark Knight has an effect that actually hugely contributes to killing people whereas Shirley does not.

Makes sense with Claw over Gillies. I feel that's a more effective lategame tool though, and I'm... not too sure on the possibility of needing all 4 to end a game. 2 of Gillies over Dema is what you'll do in the future instead, I guess.

I also personally prefer the utility of having a Charharlot, but I didn't think about games that could go on for you to get 20 soul, even with Gillies asking for 15 out of you. I figured the game wold be over long before then, but I don't know how this deck actually functions over looking more stable.

Don't need Shirley if you're already doing all of that work. Not like you're contributing to Doreen or Izaya anymore.

And I meant to note that I very much enjoy how 2 Madu looks. God I love Madu.

Why 4? I would think you'd only need two since the first one can win. In the meantime, you have all those Claws forcing them down with enormous power lanes.

Then you can have Bar Maid beef Gillies to an absurd amount of power to win, since they wouldn't be able to stop him. Since he's already hitting 36 on his own, and needs 15 soul for his full power, along with Bar Maid giving him +1000, he'd be on at least 51 with Triple Drive.

Bar Maid is the reason you'll play 4, because if the first one doesn't hit then the second one definitely will and then Claw is a guaranteed kill stride.

I'd be really goddamn surprised if they can stop a 51-66 swing.

I'm a little worried about not having constant Claw turns, but Madu keeps you going with covering your hand at the very least. So you'll be able to keep going regardless.

The game plan should ideally be Madu -> Madu/Gilles -> Gilles -> Claw -> Claw so I doubt I'd have room for another one
