The YCM Championship Series - UNO - FINAL

Recommended Posts

We are doing different formats tho, so why not? Also, we should probably apply the new rule that DevPro applied. Banning life equaliser or something so Chicken race FTK doesnt rule the tournemant or something.

Contrary to popular opinion, Norden isn't unbeatable nor is he in every single deck.

He is pretty ridiculous and unfair though, instant Rank 4 with Clowns lurking around?

Norden > tricklown

Make Lavalval chain

Detach tricklown, Res it.

Send Damajuggler and search Hatricker, Bam, 2 rank 4's for 1 card and you still have your NS.

Im not saying it's unbeatable, but it isnt exactly fair with clowns lurking.

Can we finally lay down the "fair" argument? This game thrives on "unfair". Do we want a competitive tournament or we wanna pat and cuddle each other with cute pet decks without bad boy Norden being around? cuz idk if people would like the 2nd, that'd be really boring in the longer run, trust me.

Stopping norden is hardly the second part. The game thrives on crazy, yeah, but even the OCG ended up Limiting Instant Fusion, you dont have to do something, but it would make things alot crazier.

Everyone would have the oppurtunity to run it though, so i guess it should be fun just to see what happens with it around.

You're seriosuly deluded about Norden's power. We don't have Infinity or w/e in here. It's just another rank 4 engine. As if we didn't have a ton of 1-card Xyzs in the game anymore. This is nothing new, aside from being more accesible and open to more decks.

I'm not saying it's NOT broken. But it's not CyDra Infinity level of stupid.

Forgot that we dont have CyDra infinity or S39 Lightning guy.

Ideally I'd go by strict TCG because anything else is taking into consideration things that haven't happened yet, such as potential banlists (who knows, Instant Fusion might get banned before Norden comes out for all we know) so it's not quite a perfectly desirable gamestate, but I doubt that would be very popular and I'm sure most people here would want to play full OCG without Infinity, so this is a compromise. If enough people show support for strict TCG I'll put it to a vote.

I personally vote for strict TCG to make things more simple. Nobody will need to look up OCG cards they can use, and quite frankly, I like playing strict TCG simply for the fact that there's slightly more variety.

I'd vote against it.

Maybe lower the term (like, within the next 2 lists), and list what's legal, then it's all good.

Strict TCG means a lot of potential innovation is left out, and this is, while imperfect, a way to try and figure out decks and thigs to try for the future of the TCG.
