[M:tG] [MM2] Potential leaked list of mythics, some rares

Recommended Posts

Mythics:
Tarmogoyf (already confirmed)
Dark Confidant
Vendilion Clique (already confirmed)
Kozilek, Butcher of Truth
Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre
Emrakul, the Aeons Torn (already confirmed)
All is Dust (highly likely due to number crunching)
Tezzeret the Seeker
Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite
Iona, Shield of Emeria
Splinter Twin
Mox Opal
Karn Liberated (already confirmed)

Some rares:
Lorwyn Command cycle (Austere, Cryptic, Profane, Incendiary, Primal)
Noble Hierarch
Goblin Guide
Fulminator Mage

All I can say to this is... hot damn. So much better than the first MM's mythics. The lowest price on any of them (Tezzeret) is still $16, which is pretty good expected value. And those rares are juicy.

(Source. OP leaked a similar correct list for MM.)

Yeah, saw this earlier. This kind of justifies the bigger MSRP Wizards is asking.

If this is confirmed, I'll be glad I didn't buy an All Is Dust yet. It's the kind of card that's likely to drop in price due to a smaller demand.

Oh good, I was literally about to go out and buy a norn and an Iona. Splinter twin at mythic feels weird though. I guess there's not too many big flashy red cards played in modern.

That was the one thing I noticed about the list too. I agree they don't have a ton of options, but Twin is disappointing. Though I just feel bad for trading my copy way when it wasn't worth much.

Anyway, need to trade away my Goblin Guides before their price drops.

They put Kiki at mythic in the first Modern Masters, though, so it at least shows that Wizards thinks that indefinite cloning of creatures is a mythic effect for limited. Which gives another bit of credence to this list.

Thing is, Kiki-Jiki really feels like a Mythic. If Kamigawa had Mythics he would definitely be one of them.

Splinter Twin doesn't feel like a Mythic, but it's indeed the only other high-profile red card seeing competitive Modern play, so yeah.
