Flash Flyer - Sakura Posted April 26, 2015 Report Share Posted April 26, 2015 It's been a while since I posted an actual piece in Showcase, save for that Xmas gift I did four months ago for another member. So yeah, some stuff. (I designed them specifically for reaching 23K, so yeah commemorative) BANNER [spoiler=Large images] [/spoiler] SIGNATURE TAGS Signature stuff is 600 x 200; tags are 450 x 150 (this is the size of the stuff in my sig; minus the Reshi one and Night's gift; those are 10px taller) Banners are 900 x 300. --- TBH, I worked on the banner first; then resized them accordingly to make signatures/tag stuff. First one is essentially both Eon dragons in 5Ds regalia on a Clear Mind backdrop. I tried to do dual-chromed colors in red/blue, as to match them appropriately. The middle is a tech circle that I bought access rights to long ago. Second one is of Xerneas. This one, I went for more of a night-ish feel and put a backdrop of it in the BG; then used some sparkle brushes (and Arcane circle stuff). The katakana on the left reads its name in Japanese. (Credit goes to xous54 for the Xerneas render. I admire his artwork quite well.) --- 20-30 minutes on each using GIMP. I would've liked to use a more stylized font for the 2nd one, but computer is being stupid and not reading my font files now. I need to fix that. --- Anyway, CnC.
