Simping For Hina Posted April 30, 2015 Report Share Posted April 30, 2015 The depth is the best thing about this piece. It is seriously hitting on all levels, and subtly, too. You notice it because of the white arrays, but it is more distinguishable if you look into the background, just the finer adaptions. I like this piece, but that atmosphere is shotty. It is a Night piece because you know that the atmos is opaque and could be a hit or miss, in this it is a miss. You seemingly were trying to refine it with unneeded details to fix the color, and everything else just seemed to make it look nicer. I think you shouldn't make the colors so fluorescent and washed out. Darken some parts of it to fix this, and it could be so much better. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I know what you were trying to accomplish with it and in theory when done correctly it would be dope, but at this moment I really don't think that it "makes the tag" in any way. You have all these elements that really fit with the manga feel of the tag and then you have this yellow fractal that is the only yellow of the entire tag. Even the red c4d/fractal you have fits because the rest of your tag is made up of very grey/b&w colors and then your highlights of red in various spots, along with the red calligraphy. I'd play around with the yellow c4d a bit, maybe less of it or positioned differently and then I would agree, it would definitely make the atmosphere hella dope.
