Destroyermen Discussion thread

 In honor of Taylor Anderson 10th book in the Destroyermen Series I want to start a discussion thread for the series.

 

 So lets start with the background of the story for those who arent aware of this series:

 

 1942, Imperial Japans offensives seem unstoppable, with the US main battlefleet out of commission and Englands response tossed aside only a group of cruisers and destroyers stand against the most powerful navy in the region. Then Disaster for a lone group of WW1 destroyers as the battle of Java Sea ends (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_the_Java_Sea#Books), the heavy cruiser they are protecting is annhilated and they are faced with Imperial Japans only battlecruiser IJN Amagi(http://destroyermen.wikia.com/wiki/IJN_Amagi), damaging her with torpedoes the destroyers Walker and Manhan escape into a squall. However when they emerge the world they know is gone, and a much more predatorial one faces them.

 

 They are not alone and in this world where dinosaurs rule they find Lemurians, decsendants of giant lemurs that in our world became extinct. Together they face the elements and a terrible race called "Grik". A nightmarish race of evolved dinos like the velociraptor that eat everything they can whose empire stretches from Africa to Singapore.

 

Now they face the impossible, destroying the Grik race to end their horrors.
