Flash Flyer - Sakura
Match ends 4/18 @ 9 pm HST Going to be trying something different this time around regarding Latias (and her bro, starting in Round 3 for him). Instead of using the 5Ds stock image that's been associated with them lately, they'll be using their Dream World artwork instead. That way, there will be no complaints that certain Pokes are getting special treatment. With all due respect, you're supposed to vote on which Poke is your favorite from past experiences and stuff, NOT how it's being depicted in the matches at hand with the images. It's still the same Pokémon at the day's end. (The 5Ds images will be saved for the CC wars later on in the tournament.)
LordCowCowCowCowCowCowCowCow
This is gonna be a tough fight for sure. But gotta go Latias. I've explained my thoughts on Blaziken before. And I actually do really like Latias, though not as much as you Sakura. XD The manga helped. That Latias is pretty cool.
Flash Flyer - Sakura
Yeah, Latias is amazing. Now to read the rest of the Emerald chapter. And it's very obvious where my vote went off to this time. Let's see how things turn out this time.
LordCowCowCowCowCowCowCowCow
And it's very obvious where my vote went off to this time; really have no feelings for Audino; other than it's a slightly easier to kill Blissey for special attackers that don't carry Psyshock or something. I think you mixed up matches, Dats Blaziken up there.
Flash Flyer - Sakura
* facepalms * Yeah, wrong match. I thought I posted that line in 2-25. Anyway, while I do like Blaziken (and I mentioned that it is one of my favorite starters), I have to vote for my Eon in this case.
Tinkerer
Gotta go with Blaziken here. I hold no feelings for the Eons (since I never encountered them or anything) while in one game I trained Blaziken to take down the E4 single-handedly (lvl 70-something?), so I've grown pretty close with him. ~British Soul~
Not gonna lie, I haven't used a Latias at all (Though I have used Latios), though I have used Blaziken. Of course both of them look cool and all, but I kinda want to avoid Blaziken after the Blazikengate thing a couple of tournaments ago (Yeah, not lettign that go), therefore Latias gets my vote. As a sidenote, Latias is generally more defensive in terms of usage (and I mean by IVs and stuff); although she can certainly go offensive if needed. TBH, that's generally how mine run. But yeah, she should run the same as her bro; minus 40 points in power, give/take. Gotta go with Blaziken here. You should've encountered one post-game in RSE or if you got ORAS; right after you defeat your dad and proceed onto Route 118/119. Not sure if you've gotten that far yet. -- But so far, close game; but Blaziken is leading.

Looking at stats, I know that Latias is generally more defensive, though as a sidenote, most of the time whenever I say that I've used a pokemon, generally I mean that I've used it in-game, not competitively. Flash Flyer - Sakura
That basically applies to me as well. Most of my usage stuff is in-game. As much as I would've loved to use my Latias in the last tournament, less power wasn't really helping with my build (and I don't have time to Calm Mind and stuff). Latios, on the other hand, is my go-to in competition since I know he hits like a truck. Or in other words, Latios is my competitive ace; Latias is my in-game ace (although I gotta get her up to the point she can fight in tournaments). Suppose Battle Institute is a start. Sethera
Never really cared for Blaziken that much. Even after it got Speed Boost. Sceptile, on the other hand...if I had to choose between Latias and Sceptile, this would be a harder decision for me. As it is, and because Latias dreamworld pic is frankly adorable, I'm voting Latias.
Flash Flyer - Sakura
8-6 Latias right now. So far, so good. However, still another day before she can breathe sighs of relief.
Flash Flyer - Sakura
It seems that the Eon princess managed to secure her win over the fighting chicken during this fight, in an 8-6 lead. Joining her brother, Latias advances to Round 3. And by doing so, she has overcome her memories from the past and can now proceed towards the future. Latias: 過去からの記憶、ここに私の勝利で、消えた。 アタシの心、越えて第三の戦いとの戦いのために準備いるわ。行くよ! That memory from before; it's now gone with the dawning of my victory. Now, my mind is prepared for the third fight and beyond. Let's go!
