.Rai
self portrait pro workYour facial shading is impeccable. Very natural, brings out contouring and texture of skin really well here. On that note, I'd love to see some non-study/non-shade sketch stuff. Digitally painting skin with good tones is a talent I don't see often, I'd love to see that in action on some more detailed stuff. I've seen people stop at this stage but for me, for learning and such, I'm trying to go further and detailing as much as possible. You know the title says "Work in progress" right? I honestly had to create my own brushes to get the desired look. It's a pain but the results are extremely satisfying. I'm definitely trying to do finished work but at this stage I need to study compositions more because it tends to get difficult halfway through. Thanks man, I'll definitely try something out and post it as soon as possible.
.Rooster
The strokes used are pretty nifty, as they work for every detail . You should try using a bigger entire orchestra consisted of different forms of strokes, shades to upgrade this piece into visual porn. Oh, BTW, what is an artist of your calibre doing on a children's card forum? :P

.Rooster
can you please clarify? I'm interested but I don't quite get what you mean. Say you could add thinner strokes for the hair, larger strokes for more simple parts of the body etc.
