I don't think many of you saw it so I'm posting it as an actual thread mainly because I want some CnC.

Too much umm... whats the phrase... the way you did the shading makes it really weird to look at. 

Otherwise not much to say. Your efforts look great, pentooling is fine. I'm sure G4hardcore will love it.

 

If I were to add anything it'd be some foreground clouds in the same style rather than mist.

Make the rear clouds layer more in style but not too much more.

And switch the shading to more hard shapes rather than fluffed.

Yeah, I've never been good at shading, and I mean never haha. I seriously need to look at more drawings and real life photograph references to get shading right but I never end up doing it.

 

Foreground clouds would've been a good idea actually, I was basically sticking to the drawing done, I really should've done some extra to make it better haha.

 

Next pentool piece I do will definitely have better shading and probably be better overall, thanks for the feedback.

Far be it from me to offer such a suggestion normally but you had already altered a few shapes on your own rather than copying it outright, I'd think you wouldnt disrespect the original by adding complimenting features to the foreground above the focus.
