9 times out of 10, people refer to the s*** ton of fan arranges that come out every half-year or so. Do check out the 2hu thread in the music section and give some stuff a listen, or post asking for recommendations depending on what genre you're into. Touhou has them all.

ive had to listen to and critique various touhou songs before though all that ive heard is the electronic and metal songs, to me almost every single one of them sounds like the overused clichés of either genre. i never bothered looking into the thread on here because ive had plenty of examples being shown to me from another forum that i go onto, i might go onto the thread sometime but i have my major doubts

I can't say I'm confident enough that there's more to touhou music than what you're tired of and will impress you but, I assure you, there's more than just electronic and metal(they are quite popular in this...genre though). But at least I can respect that you've already taken a listen to a good amount of arranges.

im aware that there is more to touhou music than just electronic and metal but my disappointment and lack of interest really keeps me from digging any further, ive heard probably a lot more songs than most Non-touhou fans have, again like i said, im still willing to go through more of this stuff, but my doubt shield is up all the way

Your either a pure Touhou-Type, or your a dual-type that features Touhou.
Im MLP/TF2 but that's different
