I figured there should be a thread like this. The ERB of YCM had its moments, but here there's no need for competition... unless you want it, of course.

 

I have a few raps of my own from another forum, so if this gets enough attention, I'll post them.

I wake up, the stake’s up, should I stay connected or break up 
with my life, my rhymes edgy like the knife that might behead me 
tonight by my own hand if I decide to abide to takin' up 
the act of suicide, fuck that, I couldn’t if I tried 
This so called depression’s a lie, so I digress this dark side of me 
and press my luck as the day goes by living like a wannabe 
It’s obscene, swig of caffeine hopin' it’ll last through the evenin' 
I’ll be in this life through thick and thin; rebellion? No reason. 

No treason, no loyalty to break, no one to trust 
We’re all just dust in the wind, all you metal heads can rust 
Buried in the crust, no mantle, like my raps, too hot to handle 
Yo brand’ll make ya money, but I stand on hot concrete, no sandles 
People light candles fo me, you get a half-assed legacy 
All yo sales go directly to yo manager, don’t ya see? 
Yo name may be chanted, but people just take you fo granted 
as a concept, follow yo roots, take a look at where you’re planted
