I still have to catch Electrode. I just recently managed to clean up the S Ranks.

I'm so upset, though. Remember when Raise Max Levels were borderline worthless, because the options to use them on were underwhelming, and the effort to get more were things like...get to Stage 200/250/300 of Escalation Battles?

Well, they've been giving more Pokemon the option of RML, including pretty solid stuff like GENESECT and YVELTAL, in addition to previous buffs to stuff like Groudon, Kyogre, the legendary Dogs (which combined with the Skill Swap item, have made them all extremely solid options).

And I have nowhere near enough RMLs, even with the bunch they threw at us for free. *sniff* I'm betting Skill Swap is going to go this route eventually, too. They've been giving Skill Swaps to REALLY high effort tasks, like top rankings in the M-Competitions. Still not enough Pokemon I really want to use them on, but I see it happening in the future.

Also...next week is a NEW M-Competition for a change. M-Alakazam. I'm intrigued.

Also, Hitmonchan is being a pain. I've gotten the capture rate as high as 27%, and still missed 2 Great Balls.

Wait, more Pokemon can get RML? And I just checked, more can be skill swapped. Man I'm lucky I had managed to get 19 RML (I've used 15 on two dogs and Ground) so I can almost max Yveltal. Also have 5 skill swaps so I should be good for a little a new Pokemon get better abilities. I think I've used 4 already too. Not sure if I should switch Zygarde-Perfect.

Yea, Chan was a pain for me too. Hell, first attempted I brought in power ups he ran away after 1 great ball so I needed to try again and needed another 2.

Huh. I didn't know Zygarde-Complete was able to Skill Swap. That's interesting.

Yea. Not sure if its worth it, but I'm going to train it up just so I have the option if it comes up. As said I have extra skill swaps and unlike RML you don't need a bunch right away.

LOL I can't believe I actually managed to hit the exact 123-combo mark while attempting to clear the Card #13's mission O_O

That is going to be such an obnoxious mission. Guess I can try leveling something while doing it.

I'm tempted to use a Skill Swap on Yveltal, since I don't think the anti-psychic/ghost mons even have a Block Smash+ mon.

It is worth it. Block Smash+ is a very good ability and Yveltal can be pushed up to level 15 too.

If I recall correctly, Yveltal only has 3 RML slots, or was that another mon? I seem to recall a mon only has 3 RML slots.

You're thinking of Zoroark. Probably.

There ARE a couple mons that only use 3, such as Zoroark, I think Donphan, the Gen VI starters' first evolution, and a few others. Yveltal and Genesect definitely use 5 each, as do the vast majority of RML Pokes.

And now there are some mon with pretty low base power that can use 10 RML's!

I wasn't sure if you were serious, so I looked it up.

Apparently, it's true. Kangaskan, Surskit, and Scyther can use 10 RML.

And I'm completely baffled. See, Mew was a base 50 Pokemon, and it got 5 RML. At Level 15, Mew has 100 power, and thanks to Skill Swap, it can have an extremely useful ability for a Psychic-type with high power.

Kangaskhan is also a base 50. But it has...10 RML slots? No idea what its boosted power was after 5 RML, or what it is now. And Scyther was a base 70, but it ALSO gets 10 RML. Why? No idea.

So, as of now the M-Alakazam stage is up, and you DEFINITELY want this stone beyond collection purposes. His mega ability is the exact same as M-Aerodactyl's.

This is super convenient since the one thing Mega Mewtwo is bad at will be covered by him. Sadly, this means I need to level grind for him, and the best way to do so is not available. Also, Risk-Taker isn't a bad ability to level since it goes up decently fast and at level 5 min roll is only a little bit worse than what you'd do normally.

So, did a run of the M-Alakazam competition. Normally I just wait until Monday, so that I'll have the coins, and so I'll have a good idea of where I stand before rollover.

...my rank was 192/30000+. On my first try. I'm pretty confident I'll be getting the M-Stone, because I got a score of 87282.

Just checked. My current rank is 217/31877

Decided to go for the full Darkrai EB, just beat 150. Finally getting to see how good Mega Ray is. Its kind of scary. Though Mega Steel really does good work on the boss stages.

Did take a break for Mega Al. Score was pretty crappy at only 57K. Don't really care about the ability swap since I have a bunch saved atm, but really want more candies.

Also, the frequency at which I forget to get +5 moves for weekend Meowth is much too high...

I just reached Stage 150.

I've been using M-Lucario, which has been working really well (Steelix on boss stages), and I even went ahead and fully candied him, because I've been sitting on like 10 Mega Speedups, having not used any since I fully candied Rayquaza (now I have 6, since I used 4 on Lucario). I figured why not, because M-Lucario has always been one of the most reliable Megas in Shuffle.

EDIT: And now I beat 150. From the looks of it, the remaining rewards are a Skill Swap at 175, and 2 Mega Speedups at 200, which...is the last stage?

2 at 200 does honestly sound tempting. But if that's the last stage, it would be absolutely brutal.

According to Reddit the difference between 175 and 200 is 17K HP so it is a pretty big difference. If you have the coins, you should go for it since it should still be pretty reasonable with all items. Outside of the boss stages I've been able to beat everything normally with the occasional +5 for safety on the angry stages.

The fact that the game has gotten this much content a year and a half out from launch is pretty awesome, especially since its a free game.

Also, its pretty bad that I have over 70K coins and yet feel like that isn't enough. Mostly because I know Darkrai is going to eat through them. Not to mention great balls for the rare Safari Pokemon. Though it seems like the main stages are only 20 this time around. This makes getting through everything a bit easier.
