I'm down to the last 10 stages for the main courses so decided to start on the escalation battle so as to not miss it/get free stuff. Only going up to 50 since I'm terrible at timed stages and would rather just grind for money once I finish the new content. I was happy to see the angry jumps are still in effect. Didn't think they would show up here too. Very happy that that isn't the case.

Electabuzz: Disruption Delay and +5 moves.

Clamperl: Mega Scep team and +5.

Diggersby: Mega Swamp team and +5 is doable, but disruption delay can be used to be safe.

Cacnea: Mega Blaz could be enough to do it itemless. +5 otherwise.

Huntail: Mega Saur with +5 should be enough for S.

Magby: Mega Swamp and +5.

Cacturne: Mega Blaz with +5 and disruption delay.

Gorebyss: Mega Scep with +5 and disruption delay.

Magmar: Mega Swamp with +5 and disruption delay.

Mega Scizor: Everything.

Damn it! I wasted the free Attack Power I got from check-in on my first try at Latios Lv.100, so I had to go again and spend a lot of coins I was saving for Lv.150. Should've bought that Disruption Delay on my first chance. That goes out to prove that you shouldn't play boss stages late at night :/

I've actually just finished the main stages. Reached a point where I just kind of said screw it and used disruption delays and great balls to speed things up. Wanted the jewel so I could get 3 more goes at Meowth. Which left because I had played it earlier in the day. Where it went terribly since I cashed in the jewel then and forgot to use +5 in 2 of the 4 runs.

O well, I'm just under 40K so I have money to spare. Time to do the expert stages and then I'll be done with this update.

Finally managed to catch Azelf, but had to use a C-1 in order to do so. The worst part is that I had managed to grind more than enough coins yesterday spending a Jewel on Meowth's stage, but instead of buying a C-! right away, I tried a few times with only Attack Power Up (and Mega Start when I tried using Ray), so I had to grind up on regular Meowth all over again today. And there isn't enough time left to reach Latios Lv.150 :/

I have gotten weirdly fond of M-Sceptile for some of these stages.

I've finally reached 400, haven't beaten it yet. I currently have everything except Magmar captured, and only need S for Gorebyss, Magmar, and M-Scizor.

EDIT: Nope, check that. Only have to S M-Scizor now, and caught everything but the 400 S Expert stage.

Just a warning, but when you bring M-Aero into the Electivire battle, BRING A funking MEGA START! No, seriously, the entire match has 3 columns filled with unbreakables from the start, so it's a must to have M-Aero to even have a decent chance of catching Electivire. (You can win without it, but you'd only have ~0-3 moves by the end.) Also, it costs 300 coins instead of hearts to fight him.

Also also, it appears our pokemon's abilities now have a skill gauge, but I don't know how it powers up beyond Skill Booster items. Also also also, Electivire is power 70, and has the (currently) unique power T-Boost, which cause more damage when you make a T-shaped match.

There's a new Safari which is made of psychics and ghosts, so what you should bring is obvi.

Electivire was terrible. Between needing Mega Start and the low catch rate on top of the 300 coin entry I wasted so much money on him. Really don't like the coin system but I hear its common on mobile so it might come over here too.

I'm happy the Safari gives me an excuse to grind up Hydrigon a little.

Also, btw, Magmortar is next week and its ability is + boost. These both seem like sweet abilities.

I'm mad about Electivire, because I had just woken up, so I forgot to TRY the stage first before using an Attack Power Up. As a result, I had no idea what was coming. I still won and caught the thing, but it screwed up my money count which I was saving to S Rank M-Scizor.

However, it seems that 300 coin fee was INSTEAD of a Heart. Because I still had full hearts, unless I absently got distracted for a half hour between starting the stage and looking back at my life counter (possible, but very unlikely)

I've encountered about half the Safari Pokes, but caught none of them. Will probably finish up my coin grinding for M-Scizor before I tackle the Safari, because I really want to finish off the main stages and get Hydreigon so that I don't super-question whether to use a Great Ball or not because it'll set me back. And Sunday will replenish my coin stock anyway.

Almost done with the safari; I've caught everything except for Jellicent, though not without Great Balls (on Hypno and Beheeyem). I got really lucky with Mesprit, catching it with a Pokeball at 22% with no moves left. I played like an idiot and got caught up in its barriers - though I did enjoy putting it to sleep by matching itself and triggering Sleep Charm :3

Finally caught Jellicent, so I'm done with the safari...but not without its costs. Wasted 4 great balls on a 76% catch rate. Down to 59 coins - I think that's the lowest it's ever been at since the very early stages. Time to spend the rest of the week farming Meowth, I guess.

Mesprit has been obnoxiously absent, so it's making it hard to complete the safari for me. Also, where are you farming Skill Boosters from?

From the returning Groudon stage; it provides special Skill Boosters exclusive for Groudon.

I've had it show up three times. I'm still looking for Beheeyem who hasn't shown up in lord knows how long. Which sucks because I used a great ball for Jellicent and have since since it a few times. As a point of reference my Frillish is almost level 5 now.

Is that the only place available to get boosters from at the moment?

I believe so.

This stage only provides special Skill Boosters that only work with Groudon; but other stages may provide regular Skill Boosters for your other mon.

I'm having just as much luck, since in the last 10 hearts I've done the freaking Frillish stage about 6 times now.

Thats why I've been using Frillish as one of my 3. Its good against the Pokemon in the Safari and decently common so I can get a little bit of money while hunting. Though its SUPER frustrating when the barriers hit a coin.
