Flame Dragon
Azelf was a huge pain, too, but I was for some reason using M-Hera rather than M-Gengar. And Complete form was a pain, but I got him. Seriously, those 2 alone cost me about 15k or so, due to losses and Great Balls. They were so expensive per try that a Great Ball was worth it. Ooh, we also have the Special Shop, which lets you buy the "No Hearts for 1 hour" for 2 Jewels, or a 24 hour long "15 minute recharge, max hearts = 10" thing for 2 Jewels. That'll come in handy for the grind fest. Latios escalation is back, which means another M-Speedup, since I have the Latiosite already. New main stages, but no idea how many. I'm betting M-Scizor is at the end of it. But wow, sheet ton of new content, I think. And I was sitting on 65k. Zygarde - Complete is a base 90 with Power of 5+. That's pretty solid. Pretty sure Azelf is a timed stage too. I suck at those. Blarg. Good thing I have tons of money. I'm sad that I have zero jewels currently since the no heart for an hour thing would be SUPER nice. Latios was also timed right? Yea, with all the new stuff do likely just going to get the Mega Speed up and call it their. That makes 5 for Ray. BTW, prizes [spoiler=Prizes] Prize for first beating level 5: 1 Exp. Points x1.5 Prize for first beating level 10: 1 Disruption Delay Prize for first beating level 25: 10 Hearts Prize for first beating level 35: 1 Exp. Booster M Prize for first beating level 50: 1 Latiosite or Mega Speedup Prize for first beating level 60: 1000 Coins Prize for first beating level 70: 1 Exp. Booster S Prize for first beating level 80: 2000 Coins Prize for first beating level 90: 1 Exp. Booster L Prize for first beating level 100: 1 Raise Max Level Prize for first beating level 110: 1 Exp. Booster M Prize for first beating level 125: 1 Level Up Prize for first beating level 150: 1 Mega Speedup Prize for first beating level 200: 2 Raise Max Level What I find interesting is they aren't showing all the new Pokemon in the Pokedex. We have no idea how much stuff just got added. Just checked and its 50 stages and 3 expert. RIP money. Yea, Dragons are pretty useless so 90 power seems well within reason. 5+ isn't the greatest effect, but its fine. Thought the odd thing with the Dragons is Ray being such a good Mega makes Dragons even worse since you don't want any others when you use him. Lotad: Easy stage to start off with. Psyduck: +5 moves and Mega Saur should be enough. Cranidos: +5 moves should be enough. Yanma: Mono Fire Team with Resh should be enough. If not +5 will lock it. Glameow: Annoying stage. Use Mega Mewtwo X. Your might need +5 moves but can be done without. Lombre: Use Mega Blaz and Talonflame and and you might be able to get through with just +5 moves. Golduck: Possible with +5 moves and Mega Saur. Use disruption delay if you want to lock it. Trapinch: Puzzle
evilfusion
My understanding is we're up to stage 400 now.
Flame Dragon
My understanding is we're up to stage 400 now. Yep. Much grinding is to be had. Anyway, for the next 11 days we get gifts for logging in. The list April 28th: 1 Mega Start April 29th: 10 Hearts April 30th: 2 Exp. Points *1.5 May 1st: 1 Moves +5 May 2nd: 3 Exp Booster S May 3rd: 3000 Coins May 4th: 1 Raise Max Level May 5th: 1 Jewel May 6th: 1 Exp Booster M May 7th: 1 Attack Power May 8th: 1 Mega SpeedUp Also, Trapinch is HARD. I ended up looking for the solution because screw it. Binacle: +5 with Mega Swamp or Scep. With luck you might not even need +5. Rampardos: Mega Steelix is really needed unless you get lucky and the board is reset after a disruption. Past that +5 with Steel should get you the S. The Warden
So, Latios can also chuck a wobbly now. That's honestly better than Zygarde, as timed challenges are honestly easier to win due to real time allowing you to beat out annoying barriers. evilfusion
I was wondering why I got a random Mega Start. Trapinch was an utter pain. I was under the effects of Infinite Hearts when I reached him, and I tried the stage legit like 20 times, but never quite figuring out the solution. So I used a +5 and just looped the stage to beat it.

I thought about using +5 moves since I figured out a way to get him nearly dead, but figured I didn't want to have to do that multiple times and/or also spend money on the great ball. Slugma: Beatable without anything.
evilfusion
To be fair, I was at work at the time, so I couldn't look up the solution, and I still had about 15 minutes before my shift start (and 15 minutes of infinite lives) and didn't want to squander it. I'm actually broke again. I've been willing to spend money for Great Balls if either the level was annoying/required items, or if Super Capture triggered and made it either a sure shot or very close to one, and one of the stages, I accidentally brought the wrong Mega and used a Disruption Delay, which wasn't enough to actually win. Also, the Mantyke Daily Pokemon stage today was an obnoxious pain. It took me several tries to beat it with ANY moves left. In any case, my progress with the Main Stages: I'm up to Stage 372.I have 363 S Ranks, unlocking one of the Expert Stages (which I caught)And I have 349/356 captured. But since I was broke around this time, I had to stop for a bit. And I'm up to Stage 15 of the Escalation Battle.
The Warden
I got lucky with Mantyke, and caught it on 14%.
evilfusion
I got lucky with Mantyke, and caught it on 14%. Not sure HOW, since its base catch rate is 16%- *shot repeatedly* But nicely done.
Pchi
I can't believe I wasted a whole day trying to catch funking Mantyke when I could be grinding Latios for more prizes...

The Warden
It was, I won (barely) with 0 moves, hence why I caught him at 16%.
evilfusion
It's weird, because there really wasn't anything truly terrible about the stage. I think we just lack Barrier Bash Pokemon super effective against Water, not counting Roserade's ridiculously fickle Stabilize+ ability. Actually, come to think of it, my strongest Electric and Grass types have really dumb abilities. That is to say, abilities that aren't generically useful. We have Thundurus with Power of 5+, Zekrom with Block Smash+ and a choice of Roserade's Stabilize or Virizon's Power of 4+. So I end up with a team of super-effective Pokemon whose abilities are situational at best, and useless as hell at worst. But that's the WHOLE team. And Manectric takes too long to M-Evolve. Flame Dragon
I totally forgot about the daily pokemon. Crap. I hope they run again next week.
The Warden
They should be. They seem to be in a two week update cycle, so daily mons should be around for 2 weeks.
Flame Dragon
I checked and that does seem to be the case. Its been SO long since we had new daily mons that I just totally forgot I needed to check in it. Purugly: No items needed. Natu: No items needed. Magcargo: Used Mega Swamp with Disruption Delay and +5 moves. Barbaracle: Use Mega Steel with +5 and you should be able to just get the S. He is also one of the best new Pokemon. Combee: Can be done itemless. Deino: No items needed. Xatu: +5 moves is all you need. Dragalge: Disruption Delay and +5 moves. Vespiquen: Eject team might be enough to S rank. If not use +5 moves. Zweilous: +5 is all you'll need. Unown: Puzzle. I looked it up because lazy. Once you solve it shouldn't be hard to S rank normally. Horsea: Unless you get some bad RNG +5 should be enough. Good RNG can let you do it itemless. Shieldon: +5 moves is all you need. Scraggy: Easy puzzle. Rhyhorn: No items needed. Patrat: No items needed. Seadra: Might be doable with just +5. Is close though. Bastidon: First stage I couldn't beat without items. Disruption Delay and +5 with Mega Swamp is my recommendation. Rhydon: Beatable without items, but annoying. Guide I use recommends this team and it works with some luck: M-Glalie, Greninja, Shaymin, Milotic. With that +5 can be enough. If not Mega start with Abma Scrafty: +5 moves
The Warden
I've managed to bypass level 150 of Latios, and christ the lead-up to it is excruciating. The SOB is incredibly good at cock-blocking your every moves, and all the solid blocks makes it a right jabroni to make combos.
Pchi
Hey, what did you guys used to catch Azelf?
Flame Dragon
Only thing special I did was bring along Volbeat. Past that, standard team vs. Psychic. Plus any items you might need since the stage is annoying. Unknown?: Semi-Hard puzzle. Sadly your kind of forced to use a +5 for S rank. Watchdog: +5 should be enough. Shellos: I was able to beat it with 2 moves left without +5 using Mega Amp so it can be done with just that, but every try past that I couldn't get it. Use disruption delay just to make your life easy. Vibrava: No items needed. Elekid: +5 should be enough. Bunnelby: No items needed. Gastrodon: +5 moves should be enough. Flygon: Disruption Delay and +5 moves.
Zextra
Got the Scizorite. I'm gonna have to go back and s-rank it eventually, though. Seems like it'll need a complexity -1. MS with Mega Aero and Moves +5 just allowed me to beat it with 0 moves left...
The Warden
I've given up on Latios at stage 191, as he's just way too hard to beat.
evilfusion
I only went up to stage 150 with Latios. Not worth going to 200 for Raise Max Levels. Not until there's a wider selection of Pokemon to use them on.
Pchi
Hey, what did you use to beat Latios Level 100 and 150?
evilfusion
I think I switched to Latios, Xerneas, Latias, and Kyurem around that time. M-Latios' ability had become far more valuable than M-Rayquaza, and Mamo was no longer needed because the stages shifted from Barriers to Blocks. (I was previously using M-Ray, Kyurem, Xerneas, and Mamo) Near the 135-150 mark, I started struggling to beat the stages, usually winning with like 2 seconds left, or needing a Time + 10. On 150 I used a Disruption Delay and Attack Power Up.
