Whee! I got the 100 coins mission!

For a mere 800 coins and a free M-Start, I got 10,700 coins.

Now all that's left is the Throh mission. ...yay...

EDIT: I have used my windfall to grab the remaining S Ranks I needed, unlocking Arcanine. All I have left to capture then are Skorupi (for...some reason) and Arcanine.

Tried the 100 coin challenge with Mega Ray and a bunch of Quirky+ pokemon and only got 5000. I just wasn't having the Meowth coins cause more to spawn. Curious, what did you use?

That's precisely what I did. I brought M-Ray and 3 Quirky+ (if it matters, I think I chose Xerneas, Malamar, and Gothitelle just cuz). My focus however, was mostly on just using M-Ray, which would almost guarantee 3+ matches a turn. I got pretty lucky not just with skyfall coins, but also Meowth spawn coins, and got lines of 700 coins at least twice.

I'm not going to pretend it was necessarily EASY to do, there's definitely luck involved, and it kind of sucks that you only get one shot at it a week. And 10700 is literally my highest coin score ever, with like...6600 being my next one, and my average being more like 4900. Clearly, it is worth the investment to use a Mega Start, since I usually use Mewtwo Y + Mega Boost Psychics, and the turns lost by trying to rack up the Mega Evo could evidently be getting me massive money with M-Ray instead.

I ended up blowing the rest of my fortune on Arcanine, but it is now captured, leaving me only needing Skorupi, which probably wouldn't be too hard to capture considering it's got base 21% rate. But I find the stage itself weirdly hard to beat.

I think right now, my most favourite part of the update was that it remembers where you were when you switched the game off. Just, best feature hands down.

Also, new Safari and Zygarde 10%. Zygarde 10% is Dragon, Power 50, and has Mega Boost+. The funker cost me 5k more because he broke out TWICE on a 64% chance. The Safari has the Cle- series, Deerling and Sawsbuck, as well as a new Pikachu. So, bring Poison with you.

I find it SUPER weird that Zygarde 10% was first made available in Shuffle and not a main series Pokemon game.

Anyway, side from 10% and the new safari we have Ho-oh, Lugia, Kyogre and Tepig back.

Info for the Safari, thanks to reddit

Pikachu (Angry) Electric 50 Super Bolt 28% Base catch, 8% per move 2%

Cleffa Fairy 30 Mega Boost 12% Base catch, 3% per move 37%

Clefairy Fairy 50 Crowd Control 20% Base catch, 4% per move 15%

Clefable Fairy 60 Pixie Power 14% Base catch, 3% per move 11%

Deerling(Spring)Grass 50 Eject 10% Base catch, 3% per move 25%

Sawsbuck(Spring)Grass 60 Block Smash 12% Base catch, 10% per move 37%

I've read Pikachu is a puzzle stage.

Also, Mega Sceptile is next week. Same ability as the other two.

Cool. As for the passing M-Absol, I kinda forgot I had it, so I used a fair few items on it, so at least the Jewel is nice. It puts me 2 away from 12, which I think I'll use for the 48000 gold. I mean, the 80 hearts is nice, but to even match the 48000 in coins I'd need to get the 530 on Meowth every go.

I actually find it hilarious that 10% Zygarde is available in Shuffle before any other game. I find it cute that 10% Zygarde has a 10% base catch rate.

I've caught and S Ranked all the main stages, and I beat all the mission cards (I used a Jewel to beat Throh, well worth it, since I had 9, and got another one from the Absol competition).

From the Safari, I've currently caught Deerling and Clefairy.

Ooh, Angry Pikachu is the uber rare one? And it's supposedly a puzzle stage? Ewww...

So, apparently Clefairy has 2 disruptions. One that generates the 2 columns of 3 coins each side, and then another that I think requires a giant combo to trigger. This second disruption has 2 columns of 4 coins, each seperated by a block. So together they're worth 600 coins. I think you need a big combo to trigger it, but i'm not 100% sure.

*Laughs maniacally* Wow, just wow. I was fighting Cleffa for the safari, and i just got a massive chain that not only got me the 100 or more chain mission, but also the 35000+ score one as well.

AWESOME!

And I finally encountered Angry Pikachu and captured it. So now I have everything completed. All the S Ranks. All the captures. All the Mission Cards. Time to grind, grind, grind until I have as much money as Flame Dragon.

What, I only have 89K. :3

Anyway, since I have so much and running into the 99999 cap sucks just going to level grind for a while. Weekend Meowth means I'll be getting a few thousand more anyway so I'm more or less set for whatever new event they throw our way next week.

Okay, I'll probably never reach that high unless there's a new content drought for about 3 weeks. And with an M-Competition next week, I'm sure some money will be thrown at that. But on the bright side, I'll be nice and prepared for new main stages or tricky events.

I really isn't that hard. If you can average 1500 per 5 hearts playing 4 times a day you'll be up 30K come the next update. Plus you have the Sunday Meowth which can get you another +5K.

Oh, I know that. It's not hard to grind, provided you have nothing else to work towards that requires the money. Usually, I end up spending a large chunk to finish off my S Ranks or captures, etc once I've accumulated enough to justify tackling the steeper challenges. I've been behind slightly for quite a while, because once I finally finished M-Ray, they added another 50 stages. For the first time in a long time, I'm actually completely caught up.

This is probably how people manage to get so many M-Speedups, too. I've heard of people who have fully candied M-Rays, which is theoretically possible, but I doubt many have that. I assume the people who got that many are the ones who are caught up and grind a lot of coins, and then spend a massive sum in M-Competitions to place in the top 2k or whatever, and who are willing to devote time and hearts to Escalation Battles.

I don't do that, because I'm usually not caught up enough to consider the investment worthwhile.
