If you want to know what the two new Megas do

Diancie pokemon in barriers. Which sounds insane.

Abomasnow has the same effect as Lucario

Yea, both of these are really good Megas.

Going to also post this link again

Since we also already have data on how fast they Mega.

I was super disappointed with the Kyurem escalation battle because you didn't get anything until Level 30, the prizes weren't that good, and I caught Kyurem at 8%, so I had no incentive to keep doing it. Diancie's is different in that I need to go to 50 for the Mega Stone, but the bonus of cool stuff makes it less of a pain.

And the coins were quite welcome since I'm using hearts on this Escalation Battle instead of grinding.

Just finished Level 50. Cost me all the coins I accumulated during the Escalation Battle, but now I'm satisfied. A Speedup isn't awarded until Level 150 and the other prizes aren't really that great for the number of hearts it'll cost to get them, so I'm ending my streak there and going back to coin grinding and cleaning up the main stages.

Okay, now I'm sad.

M-Diancie's ability does remove 10 barriers. But it doesn't do extra damage the way that other Megas do when they remove stuff (presumably because it only removes the barriers themselves, not the thing contained in that space). As a result, M-Diancie actually feels kind of meh compared to other Megas, because its damage output isn't that great.

That jewel at level 100 isn't worth it?

It is, but it isn't.

See, I prioritize 100% completion stuff over bonuses like Speedups and Jewels. Since I still need to coin grind and complete some stages and capture stuff, using 50+ hearts on an Escalation Battle for the reward of a Jewel is "worth it" in the sense of Jewels being awesome, but it's not, because I'm not making progress in the area that I value higher, and Level 100 is sure to be a difficulty spike, so even the coins I get from working up that far will probably be spent to complete the stage.

It's a high amount of investment. Compared to me just throwing points at a repeat M-Competition for a Jewel being an extremely SMALL investment (that's where I get most of my Jewels outside main stage M-Battles), and I rarely "need" any Jewels on hand.

I dunno. I might still go for it, but at the moment, I just feel the number of hearts spent exceeds the value of the prizes. If 60-90's prizes were more valuable than they are, I'd definitely shoot for 100. But investing 10 more hearts for a Moves + 5 (800 coin value) and 10 more for a Exp x 1.5 (300 coin value) and 10 MORE for a Disruption Delay (1500 coin value)...that's 30 hearts that could have gotten me over 9000 coins of coin grinding.

Jewels are worth 5 hearts or 3000 coins (and more if you have more of them). Not even close to drawing even.

Sad to hear M-Diancie isn't QUITE as good as we'd hoped. O well.

And yea, getting Jewels REALLY isn't worth it. If I just spend those 50 stages money grinding I would get like 15,000 coins since I average about 1500 per play session (5 hearts). The thing I'd do that for is a speed up since those are super helpful, but I really don't want to invest that kind of time into the stage. Though I'm currently at like 85K and will likely pick up another 5K on Sunday so money grinding isn't even that appealing since 9999 is the cap. Hopefully the next update will allow me to spend some more money.

You can read through my posts as I was going through them to see what I did to S rank them. Really, the VAST majority only needed Disruption Delay at max to get the job done. It wasn't until the tail end that I started having more issues, but even that wasn't bad.  I'm curious why these levels were so much more forgiving vs. what they'd been doing for so long. My guess is that because it was a 40 level dump they knew that in and of itself will keep people playing for a while so they didn't need to create and artificial difficulty. I hope they keep this going forward.

Plus, I like being able to get up to 9999 coins. I'm not going to go for it since it burns money I could get, but I enjoy having that maxed out.

Yeah, I see what you mean. I just beat Aggron, and all I needed was Disruption Delay. I got a massive combo off of M-Garchomp, so all the pieces fell into place for I think what was a 14 piece combo. I beat him before the Delay wore off. Or as it wore, I think. I had 11 moves left either way.

Managed to catch Gliscor thanks to a Super Capture (good thing, because it cost me a chunk of change to do the stage, and would have gotten me a MUCH better normal catch rate, but there was like 5+ seconds wasted because the board decided to throw things out there in a weird combination that made me scramble for even a POSSIBLE match, and then the blocks would vanish, costing me another half second because my intended match isn't lined up anymore).

So now I'm grinding to tackle 300.

If memory serves Gliscor was the hardest of the 3. I don't remember it being THAT bad though. You should have an easy enough time with Z since I didn't need any power-ups to beat the stage. Though your likely to need a super catch since I couldn't beat the stage and have a decent catch %.

Anyway, I remember asking if Groundon was bugged since his ability wasn't triggering. So I checked. Found this.

It makes sense, but seems dumb to make electric immune to a ground type's effect.

Catching pokemon has always been a pain in shuffle. Like, I think even with good runs most the later pokemon don't break 30%.

Anyway, new updates.

First, Mew returns.

Next, new safari. Oddish, Gloom, Vileplume, Abra, Kadabra, Alakazam and Tauros are the pokemon you will find.

A new time attack has Beedrill buzzing around.

Lastly, more new main stages. That was fast. Looks like a lot too if the Mega being used to show them is any indication.

Pansear: +5 moves and Mega Swampert should get you the S rank. And I'm already stuck trying to catch this stupid thing. >_>

Paris: Mega Aero might get you the S rank without +5 moves. If you do need anything, +5 should be it.

Phantump: +5 moves is enough for the S rank. Though just using Phantump might be good enough to get it without spending any gold.
