VCR_CAT
More like a puddle, really. Just four cards for now:
Serene Dippity Water Level 3 Aqua / Effect When this card is summoned, you can Special Summon 1 Level 3 or lower WATER monster from your hand. You can only Special Summon WATER monsters the turn you use this effect. Once per turn, when a face-up WATER monster you control is destroyed by battle or by card effect, you can activate this effect: This card gains ATK and DEF equal to the number of "Serene-Dippity" monsters you control x1000 until the end of this turn. ATK/0 DEF/0

Frontline Combatant Earth Level 8 Machine / Effect This card can be Normal Summoned without Tributing, but its original ATK and DEF are halved and its Level becomes 4. If this card is sent from your hand to the Graveyard or Tributed from your side of the field, you can Special Summon this card from your Graveyard in face-up Defense Position. You can only use this effect of "Frontline Combatant" once per turn. ATK/2800 DEF/2000

Assault Brigadier Earth Level 10 Machine / Effect Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned (from your hand) in face-up Attack Position by having 2 or more Level 7 or higher Machine-Type monsters face-up on your field. This card cannot attack the turn it is summoned. If this card attacks; at the end of the Damage Step: Change it to face-up Defense Position, and if you do, you cannot Special Summon for the rest of the turn. If this card destroys an opponent's monster in battle: Increase the ATK of all Machine-Type monsters you control by 800. If this card leaves the field; destroy all monsters you control. You can only control 1 face-up "Assault Brigadier". ATK/3800 DEF/1650

Assault Commander Light Level 10 Machine / Synchro / Effect 1 Tuner + 2 or more Non-Tuner Machine-Type Monsters You can Special Summon this card (from your Extra Deck) by sending 1 face-up Level 7 or higher Machine-Type Synchro Monster you control to the Graveyard. This card cannot be sent to the Graveyard by its own effect. If this card attacks; at the end of the Damage Step: Change it to face-up Defense Position. If this card battles a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing battle damage to your opponent. Once per turn, you can pay 500 LP, target 1 face-up monster: Change its Battle Position. This card cannot attack the turn you use this effect. If this card leaves the field; destroy all monsters you control. You can only control 1 face-up "Assault Commander". ATK/3800 DEF/1650

Assault Marshal Dark Rank 10 Machine / Xyz / Effect 3 Level 10 Monsters You can also Xyz Summon this monster using a Rank 7 or higher Machine-Type Xyz Monster as the Xyz Material. (Xyz Materials attached to that monster also become Xyz Materials on this card.) Cannot be used as an Xyz Material for an Xyz Summon. If the total number of banished cards is an even number, this card can make additional attacks on monsters equal to half the number of banished cards during each Battle Phase. If this card attacks, it is changed to face-up Defense Position at the end of the Battle Phase. Once per turn, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; target up to 2 Spell or Trap Cards in either player's Graveyard: Banish them. If this card leaves the field: Destroy all monsters you control. You can only control 1 face-up "Assault Marshal". ATK/3000 DEF/3000

Necro Devourer Dark Level 4 Fiend / Effect If this card attacks your opponent's lifepoints directly and deals damage, you can send this card to your opponent's Graveyard at the end of the Damage Step. During each Standby Phase, Banish 1 monster card from the Graveyard that this monster currently occupies; otherwise banish this card. If this card is in a Graveyard and a monster card is sent from the controlling player's field to the same Graveyard; banish this card. BtanH
So Frontline is intended to be used with Machina Fortess?
VCR_CAT
When you realize that a lot my machine support has Machina Fortress in the center of its attention, a lot starts to make sense. ALTHOUGH, I have to admit that this time, Machina Cannon would probably be a better choice in most situations to use with Frontline Combatant. VCR_CAT
Assault Brigadier now cannot attack the turn it's summoned.
lecc_XD
Change Frontline to "summon this card in Face-up defense position" or it would be a easy summon boss/beater Also take in mind that most of the machine decks use Machina Fortress as engine until Konami or someone here release an archtype that doesnt need Fortress other than Cyber Dragons xD
VCR_CAT
I agree. Frontline's been changed to summons in defense, just so the opponent has an easier time taking care of it if they need to.

VCR_CAT
Codex has received a healthy nerf!
VampireofDarkness
Codex is pretty neat, especially in DP, where you have Eternity Crusader (A Level 6 Synchro that can pop a card for 1k and when destroyed can be revived in DEF), you have Valkyrie of the Holy Feathers (A Level 6 Synchro that nets you cards if you attack and it still is on the field at the end of the Damage Step), you have Crusader of the Holy Feathers (A 5 Synchro that can't be targeted if it is the only card you control and draws on summon), you have Solar Champion (A Level 4 Photon Thrasher esque Tuner who can max out on this card), and you have Angel of Wrath - Dekido (A Level 4 DARK Fairy Tuner that can also crash into the opponent's monster and is a Crush Card target). Crusader + one of those 2 Tuners + This can be a great engine, and would be something worth at least experimenting with. On top of that, this is a Junk Synchron target, so going into Crusader would be quite good with it to say the least, and a Level 4 would synergize with Earth. I may have to do some research and testing, but I like the potential this card has for the future in terms of an engine.

GarlandChaos
Considering how common it is to find Special Summoned monsters nowadays, Mechatonne Cannon seems a bit too good. Guaranteed monster destruction at the start of the attack, given you have Xyz materials? This seems like something a lot of decks would focus around. VCR_CAT
Keep in mind that the effect is kind of like Nephilim with only two shots on his effect, and that he's a rank 8 with no personal protection besides the effect destruction while he's attacking (not when he battles in general) and offers no floating or compensation when he's killed, which shouldn't be hard. He's entirely focused on the battle phase, so he's good but far from unstoppable.

People said the same thing about personal protection about Gogmagog, Lord of Giants, one of my Ritual Monsters.
