**Effect**
You can discard 1 Spell Card; Special Summon this card from your Graveyard. If Summoned this way, banish this card when it leaves the field. You can only use this effect of “Witch of the Magical Forest” once per turn. When this card is used for the Synchro Summon of a LIGHT or DARK monster: You can discard 1 Trap Card; add 1 Level 6 or lower monster with 1500 or less DEF from your Deck to your hand. You cannot Special Summon monsters for the rest of this turn you activate this effect.

Interesting idea, but i think, even with the trap discard, you should change the search to 1500 ATK or less instead of the 1600 ATK/DEF you have right now. The amount of searchable monsters as this card is now makes it too abusable. I love the idea though

I've already given my word on this card as a whole on Devi, but I will say I have to disagree with this statement. Whereas something like Witch of the Black Forest herself costed nothing and did so much for you, this literally requires you to discard a Trap, which already means you have to run enough to make such valid. In addition, assuming you SS by its own effect, you discarded a Spell, which means you went -2 for the search. After all that, you have to Synchro for a LIGHT or DARK synchro. While that isn't the hardest thing in the world, that isn't as easy as Witch of the Black Forest. IIRC, there are no Level 6 LIGHT or DARK Synchros to work with, so you need to use either 3+ monsters or use a Level 5+ monster, which probably required some other resource as well. With all of this taken into account, you go at least -4 assuming you use 3 monsters, a Spell, and a Trap, and then you search. If you're doing all of that, you better get something out of it, whether it being that Synchro being really good, or that you get a bonus out of it. Even in something like TeleDAD where you could go this + Mali, Plaguespreader still outclasses this by a mile, even with the search. Long story short, the abusability is so low, especially in the most theoretically ideal Decks, it isn't even worth mentioning

ok so the Attribute is changed to DARK as you suggested in DA

It seems balanced to the point where it hardly seems worthwhile. It has so many conditions that IMO aren't necessary when the biggest condition is the fact that you have to discard a spell, which is really a very high cost since spells almost never activate in grave and are rarely able to be brought back (I know there are exceptions to this, but the only one that seems really good is Hysteric Sign, and this seems too slow to be worth it in Harpies anyway, especially when Summoner Monk already exists). Discarding a trap is equally high a cost, and although it can search a lot of cool things, when you're not even able to summon them that turn it doesn't seem worthwile at all. I understand that you have to walk on eggshells around a design like Witch of the Black Forest, but there's not much harm in being able to summon the thing you search off the bat. I recommend removing the cannot SS for the rest of the turn condition, and possibly even the condition that banishes it after being summoned because honestly discarding a spell is so hefty a cost that you're not going to gain massive advantage off using it multiple times.

Well, I may agree about removing those restrictions, but take in note that this card was made to support chaos.dek plays:

Because of the unreasonable mills, this card can be sent to the grave easy, and since you won't run any Spell/Traps cause they can cause dead mills, you will find that MST baits (cards like Breakthrough Skill, Galaxy Cyclone) can be the perfect targets for this card's effect.

I know that plague spreader is way more better than this card, but at least this card makes MST baits more vivid in a chaos.dek
