玄魔の王
Very rarely do I see dumb gimmicky combos I feel are worth discussing. This one weirdly struck me and I felt like sharing it. If this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard: You can add 1Dragon, Warrior, or Spellcaster-Type Normal Monster from your Deckto your hand. It's a neat effect, but it doesn't seem like it'd be that great, does it? Well, the key point here is that like Sangan, it works if it goes to the Graveyard at all. Then this happened: Equip only to a Spellcaster-Type monster. It gains 500 ATK. If youcontrol the equipped monster and this card: You can send both to theGraveyard; draw 2 cards. So yes, just like that Gravekeeper's Recruiter combo, you Summon him, swing if needed, trade out for 2 draws, and search. Only instead of getting Recruiter to put Necrovalley down, the guy who used this combo grabbed this: Gimmicky and inconsistent? Oh yes. But also kinda hilarious. Bringerofcake
all of its best targets are searchable by summoner's art or other spells. If it could be sent from anywhere it might be good, but right now it's kinda slow.
Sleepy
It is very gimmicky but creative. Also, you get some potential pluses out of it. The 2 drawn cards make it a +0 on its own, but then you add that Pendulum, the Pendulum gets the chance to maybe pop something, and eventually if things go well enough, Pendulum Summon is nice. Dragon Horn Hunter and Flash Knight interestingly enough are both a decent match of Scales searchable by this card, then one of them is searchable by Summoner's Art and the other by RotA, but none by both Spells. Not that that's incredibly relevant, but just throwing it out there. I still think that the "Summoner" archetype should have actually "Summoned" something, but interesting effect regardless. Thomas★Zero
Still an interesting combo for a +1 since you draw 2 and add 1 card from your deck for the price of 2.
