VampireofDarkness
As it says, making my attempt to do the generic card thing like I see everyone else doing. Whether these have merit or not, idk, but I made an attempt and will continue to make attempts I suppose

Cannot be used as a Synchro or Xyz Material, except for the Synchro or Xyz Summon of a Fairy-Type monster. Cannot be destroyed in battle by a monster with the same ATK. When this card battles an opponent's monster while it is in Attack Position, pay Life Points equal to the difference between that monster's ATK and this card's ATK (This is not optional); This card gains ATK equal to the amount of payed Life Points until the end of the Damage Step.

2 Tribute Summoned Monsters with 2400 ATK and 1000 DEF This card can only be Special Summoned from your Extra Deck by Tributing the above cards you control or by Tributing 1 monster you control with 2800 ATK and 1000 DEF that was Tribute Summoned by Tributing 1 Tribute Summoned monster (This is treated as a Fusion Summon). These effects last until the end of the Damage Step: ● 1: This card gains 1000 ATK ● 2: This card loses 500 ATK ● 3: Each player discards 1 random card from their hand ● 4: Destroy the opponent's monster ● 5: The ATK of this card and the battling monster becomes 0 ● 6: Destroy this card. Conrad.Xtopia
Good cards although all the monsters seem to be based around faeries... In regards to the card "Death by Defence" I think you should eliminate the part in the effect where is halves all the battle damage takes. The reasoning I have for this is because not a lot of decks play defensive monsters so this wouldn't be a main deck choice. There are decks that could utilize this card though; such as spider (an archetype that puts all the opponents monsters in def mode.) All in all the last effect I feel would hurt you more then the first effect would help you out.
Love of Ghibli
I love Duel Masters so much Solar Princess is pretty underpowered seeing as she only does one thing and that one thing doesn't really progress your plays in any way. Watcher of Worlds is funny...A tuner that is made to not leave the field seems counterintuitive, nothing wrong with it. I just find the practice weird. Accursed Snake...why does it have an effect that doesn't involve detaching of any kind? It's a nice effect as well. Mecha Angel Blade needs more attack...it should at least be 2800 if you its effects to be that mild. Also I did note the conversation in Skype about Rank 7's being unfair. Well in truth when it comes to levels lower than 8 there are (well more like were) only a hand full of archetypes that could actually drop multiple level 7's. So it was fair, especially at the time of their release, that they could have overtly powerful effects. Even now the level 7 isn't that common. So with a base of 2800 and at the very least it should lose that Battle Phase restriction it would still be less powerful than its counterparts, but it wouldn't be almost underpowered. Death by Defense...sooo I personally don't have a problem with a superior Shield Crush/Smashing Grounds just curious on how the community was about making cards that outclass other cards. BtanH
Death by Defense...sooo I personally don't have a problem with a superior Shield Crush/Smashing Grounds just curious on how the community was about making cards that outclass other cards. Just wanted to say that personally I have no problems outclassing bad cards. Like making a Trap Hole that could hit anything over 500 I wouldn't really have a problem with. Death by Defense...sooo I personally don't have a problem with a superior Shield Crush/Smashing Grounds just curious on how the community was about making cards that outclass other cards. Solar: Made now a Tuner. Watcher of Worlds: It's amusing what it enables as a Level 1 LIGHT Tuner that supports Fairies as well. Cherodei Magus and Crusader of the Holy Feathers come to mind. Accursed Snake: Fixed this. Mecha Angel Blade: Now 28 and can be activated during once per turn either player's turn. Cedreus for Level 7s I suppose. Keep in mind the plays with Aniass (A card I saw SDB use in Holy Feathers) are quite real Death by Defense: While Shield Crush and especially Smashing Ground can be used at any time, Death by Defense requires you to be playing against a Deck that would currently be stalling or playing very defensively. This was the goal of punishment, similar to the card whose artwork it was ripped from, Critical Blade, which destroys a Blocker and is a Shield Trigger. Also note I tuned up Overkill and Angel of Wrath - Drekido slightly.
VampireofDarkness
Updated the set with Mentality Fatality, an interesting card more geared towards the Side Deck and specific matchups, some of which are a given.

VampireofDarkness
It's a cool guy. The first effect doesn't seem quite as useful as the second? Against the right Deck, the first effect is deadly. There actually are quite a few Decks on here that would get hurt by it, I can think of 2 straight off the top of my head that would get drenched by it actually. Again, it's a Side Deck card, so the application has to be thought of

Cirrus
Interesting cards. I agree with BtanH that the second effect seems leaps and bounds better than the first; but the first effect has some applicability sometimes.
VampireofDarkness
Can you give me an example? 4 Examples: 1. Once the Des Queens arrive, one Ritual Summon will require a banish, so essentially they have to pay additional costs that could be used to fuel more summons. 2. Necrovanyia. Enough said. 3. Although not as common, Sky Conquerors do have a few Graveyard shenanigans, and could easily be chained to a detach of Vamp to at least get 1 banish out of it 4. The DARK Fairy Duo (Dreads and Darklords) would be really hurt by it. Whether Endless Grave and Devoured Throne in Dreads or Demise of the Archlord and Darklord Na'amah in Darklords, there are so many ways to pressure the opponent with it. Even if you don't get away with the first effect, the second will have them counting their cards. If I looked again, I could probably name a fifth
BatMed
Wonderful !! Mentality Fatality is one of my favorites ^^ so neat and balanced, I will include it in every Dek. I'll make in DP (once it lives again) ^^ and Core Launcher will be a great support to my Darklords *0* , just look at the 2nd effect o3o
VampireofDarkness
Updated the set with Black Shadow of the Emperor, a Tardy Orc esque self Farfa, and Haniel the Life Monarch, a strange Monarch support ish Fusion I made a while ago for a contest. VampireofDarkness
Updated the set with Hachi the Forgiven Crow, a very interesting Gandiva of sorts based off of Toyo's Hachi the Magical Crow and closely following the expected DP Lore of Hachi herself. VampireofDarkness
Huge Update to generic pool: Revival Negativity gives some revival while letting some shenanigans with Dark Synchros occur Eirin of Negativity is more Dark Synchro shenanigans, and also works well with Stygian Street Patrol Queen of Negativity messes with the opponent while also being a Synchro you can make with Revival Orgonth the Havoc is a retrain of Duke Devlin's heavyweight warrior while giving a huge risk/reward system ranging from big damage to losing itself DeVille of Zera is a solid counterpart to Angel of Zera to hint to my archetype I plan to submit Deal with the Dead is a Side Deck card that gives your opponent a Spellbook of Judgement effect at the End Phase, but makes their Spells require a discard each Divine Swamp is an interesting draw field esque of Chicken Race without being too immediate, and this preventing it from being overly stupid Tribute Monument of the Sky Dragon/Twisted Serpent both allow you to work with Tribute fodder without having to jump hoops to get that 1 monster to tribute. It also helps 2 Tribute monsters a bit Full Frontal Assault is a much more aggressive card to get around beaters, albeit with a small drawback Life Drain is a sort of universal Magic Drain made in the Skype Chat, which I'm not sure of how good it is. Only time will tell I suppose.

We already discussed this so I'll end it there. Anyway, updates to Life Drain have been made on suggestion of others. VampireofDarkness
Bumping this thread with 3 new additions: DeVeyes has been moved from my Pandemonium thread to here. DeVeyes acts as a Double Coston and constant Tribute fodder for Fiends. It has a lot of potential due to its current targets, so it will be seen what it can do. Magmaeer and Blaze Fenix, the Ascending Myth were FIRE Xyz made as a nod to the recent Party of Fire, as the game has yet to have an Xyz that requires 2 Level 4 FIRE monsters. Problem solved if it ever was one
VampireofDarkness
Bumping with the addition Scyther, the Razor's Edge, a challenge made by Toyo to make an Absol for WIND monsters
VampireofDarkness
Bumping with the addition of 2 fiendish accompaniments to this list: Spiked-Head Fiend gives some protection while also allowing some room for a decent R3 in Archfiends constant restriction of Fiends only to be used, since Tentempo is literally the only 2 Mat option of 3s Tasigur, Fang of the Tower gives off a twisted choice for the opponent, allowing you to have some recovery at their decision, with a small mill intact. It also gives a rather convenient Xyz change, albeit a rather slow one to trigger
