Cops have to make a lot of hard decisions.  Sometimes bad things happen.

This is not one of those times.  People need to stop making excuses for stuff like this.

So much this.

For some of the shootings, you can maybe argue that the cops had actual reason to believe they were in danger, or otherwise were justified to shoot. But this? This is absolutely inexcusable. Why exactly do we not have body cameras yet, again?

We do.  Except most cops don't use them.

UNACCEPTABLE.

It's probably for the best for you to not only say 1 word here and put more thoughts in this regard.

This is definitely a terrible incident, and things like this shouldn't ever really happened ever again. Has the police side done any sort of follow-ups to the victim's family in this case?

It took them two hours to contact his family, after he died.  So I doubt it.

I mean I see why they handcuffed him, since he could have been reaching under his seat for a gun or whatever but that doesn't explain why they didn't allow him to take his inhaler. This has sloppy police work written all over it.

EDIT: ESPECIALLY since it's police protocol to offer any needed medical assistance should the suspect request it. Obviously they can't defibrillate him after he passed out but they should not have stopped him from taking his inhaler.
