Shradow
In the prosperous kingdom of Pars lies the Royal Capital of Ecbatana, a city of splendor and wonder, ruled by the undefeated and fearsome King Andragoras. Arslan is the young and curious prince of Pars who, despite his best efforts, doesn't seem to have what it takes to be a proper king like his father. At the age of 14, Arslan goes to his first battle and loses everything as the blood-soaked mist of war gives way to scorching flames, bringing him to face the demise of his once glorious kingdom. However, it is Arslan's destiny to be a ruler, and despite the trials that face him, he must now embark on a journey to reclaim his fallen kingdom. First episode aired, and it's looking really awesome so far. I'm liking the story and pacing so far. The CGI could've been done a bit better, but it wasn't that obtrusive. Also, Arslan is so adorable.
Rodrigo
Yep, this has a lot of potential. I liked the dynamics of the first episode, and the FMA style is always great. Looking forward to know if this'll be 2-cours, because only 12 episodes would probably not be enough.
EHN.
Looking forward to watch this during this season, will be interesting to see how they develop the plot. Also, the Queen gives me the creeps.
Aix
Eh, I feel this show could get better. Right now, I'm not very impressed. It's sorta decent, but c'mon, I was expecting more out of the Bones and the creators of LOGH and FMA.
Shradow
I'm really liking it so far. Daryun being badass this episode was great. I think it just needs time to get going, not too much has happened yet.
Rodrigo
Episode 3 was insane. I can already see the amount of development Arslan will have to go through. And confirmed for 25 episodes. Great!
Shradow
2 cour is good. Honestly, while I'm really liking how the pacing is, it's slower than I would've thought. Part of me expected things to go to shit by the end of the first episode and we'd be immediately thrown into his adventure to save his kingdom, but that didn't happen and I'm glad for it. But now with those two new guys we're starting to piece together Arslan's band of merry men, so that's great.
EHN.
2 cour? Fuck yeah. After seeing that last episode I've realised how much potential this show has. I wonder how Daryun's friend will react to meeting Arslan, due to him being the son of the king.
Shradow
I figured Arslan would do something like that to get Narsus to join them. I wonder if we'll ever get to see what his "art" is. But bless his little heart, Arslan really wants to be useful.
Rodrigo
Whelp, upped this show to a 10/10. It's already fantastic. I love Arslan's character. He's meek, but at the same time he isn't. Great work once again, Arakawa-sensei.
Lt. Colonel Remo
For the record I would like to say that I want to fug Arslan (and that the old art was better but who's gonna be finicky about that) I expect great LOGH tier things from you Arslan
Shradow
Anyone think Arlsan is illegitimate? Or would that be too cliche?
Shradow
So the band's all here, now. Gieve's not totally to be trusted yet, but I'm sure he'll come around. And we finally know the identity of silver mask guy, I didn't expect it to be who it was. I like the action scenes in this show, particularly the cool 1v1 ones. Rodrigo
Gieve is probably the most interesting character so far. I like his kind. Also Falangies is so hot, damn.
Shradow
When Daryun was thinking about how he could probably beat 50k men on his own, he reminded me so much of a One Piece character. I like the spelling Farangis, because Falangies makes me think of phalanges.
