kage_tsuwamono
Hi. I suck at introductions. You can call me Kage (Kah-gay, not Kayj) for short, since typing out my full name is a pain even for me. I found this site a couple weeks ago... Only made an account to save cards. Don't expect a lot of forum activity from me in general. I'm here to make cards, and that's about it. I won't post the ones I make that are part of a set until the whole set is done, so not gonna be posting very often at all. I read in the rules and guides that nearly every newbie is told to read the rules and guides. Well, have no fear, I already did. Well, the ones pretaining to the section(s) I'll be posting in, anyway. I only ask that you bear with me with my typing. I'm slightly dyslexic, and don't always catch my typos, though I do try my best. Anyway, I'll do my best to stick to the rules, and am looking forward to a decent, if sparse, time here. EDIT: I suppose this is introduction-worthy. I haven't played Yu-Gi-Oh! in a long time. For a point of reference, I gave up the game a couple months after the Joey and Pegasus starters hit store shelves. Yeah. It's been a while. Why is this important? Because I'm making cards based on a much older meta. The one where the Blue Eyes White Dragon was "THE MOST POWERFUL CARD EVER!!!!" and everyone had it in holofoil. Also, a time when the Dark Magician looked like Xellos Metallium in armor, not the more current blue and black theme he's sporting. Heck, my deck was a simple blending of the Yugi and Kaiba starters. My experience with the game came from before Ritual Cards, before God Cards, before... whatever XYZ and Pendulum cards are. As that is all I am familiar with, my cards will probably seem lackluster, or at best simple, compared to a lot of stuff out there. But, I'd rather stick to what I know and do it well, than guess at stuff I DON'T know and get it wrong. Simple isn't always bad, though. I had a buddy who bought all 4 (at the time) starters and hundreds of boosters, spent weeks on strategy and construction, and I STILL beat his Shadow-Ghoul-Themed deck about 75% of the time. So yeah. Anyway, I'm done typing now. :P
Flash Flyer - Sakura
You're more than welcome to just post them as you go along; to be honest, it's easier on us to grade little bits of sets at times; rather than a whole bunch. That's sort of why the Multiples section (and some set threads) are barren lately. It'll also allow us to give you some feedback, so you can make them better over time as you get to the end. But at least you read the rules, so that saves me from having to give my usual "read the rules" business. --- Anyway, welcome to YCM, Kage. If you need any help around YCM, feel free to PM one of the mods; including myself. (And yeah, that includes anything regarding Xyz, Pendulums or whatever)
